Abel and boys are busy clicking groups photographs and talking animatedly to each other. Instead, I find an empty place in fourth row and sit, admiring the decor. My eyes land on Abel, I notice he has a white rose attached to his coat. Out of everyone, he looks really handsome and pulls off the suit really well. His eyes meet mine and he smiles, gesturing me to give me some time. I nod my head yes and check my phone for any notifications.
There is one from Lexi. She says she is missing me and wants me to come home now. I sigh, there is no way I'm going back there. Everyone at home thinks I'm dead because Lexi is the only one I talk to and that took me two years. I have finally left everything behind me and trying to live a normal life. Being with them would suck me right back in and I know this time I won't be able to come out.
Abel startles as he take a seat beside me.
"Smile." He points at the phone in his hand. I pose for the selfie, angling my face so it looks good. He clicks another when I kiss him on the cheek, taking him by surpise. The picture turn out real good, he is smiling while I kiss him.
"Are you okay?" He sees the slumped shoulders. I smile in reply as he intervine his fingers with mine.
"Did I told you that you look sexy as fuck?" He whispers in my ear. I can't help the goosebumps on my arms as he says the last word.
"Hmmm. You don't look bad yourself." I reply, turning to look at his expression. He chuckles just as the music starts. We all turn back to the entrance as two little girls dressed in white throws petals of flowers from the basket in their hand.
All the bridesmaids come behind them and go to stand at the altar. The music changes to the soothing tune of piano. We all stand up for the bride's entrance. Rebecca enters with her father, their hands in each others. She has put on the veil which trail long behind her just like her wedding dress. Dina walks behind them, probably to help Rebecca with her train.
Her father gives her away to Manny who helps her up the altar. They both stand facing each other as we sit down for the vows.
