Adelia had become close with the pack over the weeks while her and Evert's relationship had been blossoming. While them being together had made Evert's life Adelia wasn't all that concerned. He was nice and he was comfortable but he wasn't her everything and he never would be.

Now Adelia was sitting in a car with Markus who had demanded he drive her somewhere. Adelia was never one to protest a slightly manic looking person in her life so she got in the car and let Markus drive her off towards an unknown location.

Eventually, Markus pulled them into a carpark and followed Adelia through a trail in the woods. While the trail was very pretty Adelia was wary of what Markus was doing. They stopped in a large clearing about an hour into walking.

"This will do." Said Markus as he dropped the bag he was holding a pulled out a knife. Adelia's eyes went wide and she took a step back. Markus didn't look at Adelia though, instead, he drove the knife into his upper arm where it automatically began to bleed.

"Markus, what are you doing?" Shouted Adelia as she grabbed the knife out of his hand and threw it into a bush.

"Well, you were able to turn me from an insane rogue into a fully functioning werewolf. I think you will be able to do the same with other werewolves. The blood should draw them out."

"Markus that could have been a fluke. You have put yourself in extreme danger if it doesn't work. I am not a witch Markus."

"It wasn't magic Adelia. My wolf felt like you understood his pain and he felt the need to submit to you."

"What if it is just your wolf that feels like that?" Shouted Adelia and before Markus could rebut the sounds of a creature running through the undergrowth could be heard.

Effie could only watch as her wolf charged at the human woman and the werewolf boy. She had no power over her wolf anymore, she had been forced into the back of her own mind while her wolf went rabid.

As her wolf leaped out of the shrubbery the woman held her arms out to her.

"It's gonna be okay. You're gonna be safe and looked after now." Said the strange woman while her wolf began to submit. Effie could feel herself gain control over her body again.

After she shifted back into her human form she collapsed into the arms of the woman, sobbing, while the boy threw a blanket over her naked form.

Effie was the first of three rouges that Adelia brought home with her that day. She gave them each a room, clothes, and a home for as long as they needed it.

By the end of that week, Adelia was housing fourteen rouges all in-between the ages of 7 and 24 because rogues didn't often live past thirty.

Unfortunately, Adelia's boyfriend, the alpha next door, was noticing the large amount of rogues accumulating in his mate's home. This all came to a head when the Alpha knocked on her door and was greeted by three small children.

"Hi, I am looking for Adelia."

"Charlie, where is Adelia?"

"I don't know ask TJ, he was asking for an extra blanket."

"TJ where is Adelia?"

"She went to the supermarket."

"She went to the supermarket." Repeated one of the children to the Alpha as if he didn't hear her entire conversation.

"Can I wait for her inside?"

"Markus, come talk to this man." Shouted the small girl instead of answering the Alpha before baring her teeth to him.

Markus bounded down the stairs to see what the young girl was talking about. He stopped when he saw the Alpha.

"What's up, Evert?" Asked Markus as he waved the children out of the doorway.

"I want to see Adelia."

"She is at the supermarket."

"I've been told. Can I come in?" Asked Evert and Markus nodded before leading him into the living room. There were three kids in the lounge that all gave Evert a suspicious look or a glare before returning to their conversation.

"What the fuck is happening?" Asked Evert and Markus laughed.

"Well, Adelia has the gift of turning insane rogues sane again. Since then she has basically begun to run a hostel. We have fourteen of them now so space is getting a little tight but Adelia is going to buy another mansion where all the adult ones will live where they can be independent but still safe and cared for."

Evert buried his face in his hands and wrung his fingers through his hair. He just wanted a peaceful normal life with his mate but she seemed to gather stray children that took all her time.

He heard the door open and he knew it was his mate immediately.

"Kids come help me get the groceries from the car." Shouted Adelia and sure enough, a crowd of children came from all corners of the house in an instant to help. They all followed her orders perfectly and looked up at her like she was a deity before them. Evert couldn't help but notice how good a parent she would be.

"Oh Evert, what a lovely surprise. How are you?" Said Adelia when she noticed Evert in her living room.

"I'm good. How are you? It seems a lot has changed since I saw you a week ago." Smirked Evert at the children around Adelia.

"She is out of your league." Shouted one of the children before Adelia could reply to Evert and Evert just laughed at the kid.

"Luc, be nice. He is a guest in our house. Sorry about that Evert. Now can the rogues join your pack or would that be bad?"

"Well, it would be very good for the pack as fewer rogues around the pack and more pack members are two very desirable traits for a pack and it would significantly increase our power. However, there is an issue with the council as when the next census comes around and our pack numbers will have jumped considerably in an unusual circumstance it will raise suspicion. That will put your abilities on the radar and put you in danger."

"I can look after myself."

"I can't put my mate in danger."

"Well, they cannot stay rogues. Besides just make up some story about how you put the rogues in therapy, gained their trust, and then their wolves retreated, or some crap like that."

"I suppose I will have to let them join then." Said Evert before he pulled his mate in for a kiss while all the children in the kitchen protested in disgust.
