Hello everyone! I'm back with yet another story. I won't detain you a lot, there's nothing very important to say. The story is completely made up and it doesn't relate to T.O.P as a Kpop idol. But I do hope you all like it, I started writing it after I watched IRIS... the first time. xD
Enjoy!! ^^**************************************************************************
It started a few days ago. I was with my friend Bella in a coffee bar enjoying a relaxed evening when I saw a handsome, somewhat older Asian guy staring at me. I tried to be polite and send a nice vibe so I smiled but he just looked away pretending not to notice. I ignored the gesture and continued talking with Melanie. Later that night I saw the same man while I was heading home. We were a few blocks away from the coffee bar and I was walking when I felt someone watching me from behind. I turned and saw that man a few meters away talking into a public phone. I thought it was weird that he ended up so far from the coffee bar just for a phone call but I didn't give it much thought. After a while I decided I should take a bus to go home so I found the closest station and waited there. It was dark and I couldn't shake off this feeling that someone was watching me. When the bus arrived I entered and once again saw that man in the back seats. I sat as far as I could from him but I could feel his eyes on me. While I was getting out of the bus he wasn't there anymore which made me even more anxious. Later that night I got up from my bed to go drink a glass of water. As I was walking back to my room I looked out of the window. Near my house there is a bench under a tree. It is barely seen but I could swear I saw someone sitting on it. I remembered the mysterious Asian but I just thought I was exaggerating. But this continued for a few days, everywhere I went I saw that person, and he was always staring at me. At first I thought it was all a coincidence but after seeing him while I was with my parents at the beach, or when I was shopping in a store or just walking in town with friends I thought it was weird. So I decided I should confront him. But suddenly as I made that decision he was nowhere to be found. I thought it could've just been a prank or something but not a few days later I saw him once again when I was with my friends at the beach and decided instantly that this was the time. I looked at him with my best glare and went towards him. "Annabelle, where are you going?" my friend Isabella asked. I turned just for a second to tell her I'd be right back but when I turned back again he was gone. I was perplexed, this thing was starting to concern me and I was getting a bit scared. Why would a stranger, and especially an Asian one here in Europe stalk a teenage girl like me? "What's wrong Annabelle?" Bella asked seeing my confused and worried expression. I turned back at her and shook my head. "It's nothing." I replied with a fake smile.
After that everything was normal again for a few days. But then, three days later, I went with my friends to the shopping mall and something happened. The girls were watching some sweaters on the shelves, I told them I had to go to the bathroom but none of them wanted to accompany me so I went alone. I entered the bathroom that at first thought seemed empty. But then I heard someone whispering behind the last door of the toilet cabin, the voice seemed male so I checked once more if I was in the right bathroom and indeed I was, it was the girls' toilet. I shrugged and went to wash my hands, suddenly a hand from behind grabbed me and put a handkerchief on my mouth. In matter of seconds I was unconscious. The last thing I saw was the reflection in the mirror of the Asian guy holding me while I was drifting away. When I woke up the first thing I noticed was that I couldn't move. I was tied to a chair, and whoever did it didn't know of a gentle touch. Wherever there was rope I felt a tight and unpleasant pain. I looked around me but there was nothing to see, just darkness. I couldn't see a thing. I couldn't tell if I was in a closet or a room or somewhere else. There was no sound at all coming from outside and it was getting heard to breathe so wherever the hell I was it was a small and soundproof space. I think I was in more than just shock to keep my calm so far, but that didn't last long either. When I finally realised my situation I started to panic. And a lot. Tears started flowing down my face and I started to scream to whomever to release me. I wrestled with the ropes that seemed to tighten more and more as I struggled, I was in pain and afraid. After at least two hours of crying and screaming I finally calmed down, tears still flowing down my face but my throat was so dry and sore that I couldn't even speak anymore. Just a few minutes later someone entered the room. A bright light came from behind the doors, and a person was standing right in front of them. I couldn't really tell who it was but I had a pretty good idea. "What do you want from me?" I croaked barely through the pain in my throat. He entered the room and shut the door behind him. Darkness again. I took a deep breath and focused on my hearing. My heart was beating like crazy, I heard his steps getting closer and closer and my fear rose. "Please don't hurt me." I begged. I was trying to imagine any possible way out of this mess alive, but I saw his face multiple times. I knew he wouldn't let me just walk out of here. I started sobbing, my head collapsed and my hair covered my face. I heard his steps dangerously close to me, he was circling around me. Suddenly he switched something on and a bright light hit me right in the face. I started blinking fast because the light bothered my eyes that were already used to the pitch black. He was standing behind the light so I could only see a silhouette. "It's useless that you hide, I know how you look like. I saw you stalking me these past few weeks." I said with the last bit of courage I managed to gather. He stepped into the light, the familiar face I got used to seeing around these past few weeks was now even more scary and emotionless. I lifted my head to look at him, his expression didn't change as he said: "Who are you?" Honestly I was a little surprised, he was stalking me for quite some time, I would suppose he'd know by now who I am. "My name is Annabelle." I said in a weak voice. He smirked. "I know your name, I'm asking you who are you?" he said coldly. I flinched on the tone of his voice. I wasn't sure what he meant by that question, what was I supposed to answer? That I'm a student? That I'm a member of a large family? I was confused. "I...I'm not sure what you're asking me." I said weakly. His face hardened. "You're lying. I was following you for weeks and there was nothing, absolutely nothing odd about you! So why would the Korean secret organization want you dead little girl?" It seemed like he was angry but his voice was completely calm, and his face still emotionless. I raised my eyebrows. From all the things he just said the thing that bothered me most was the last two words. Probably because I still needed to process all the other words. "Little girl? I'm 18 you know?" I protested. His face finally changed from emotionless to puzzled. "From everything I just said that's the thing that concerns you most?" he raised his eyebrows. I shrugged. "I'm an adult you know?" I stated. "Not in my country you're not." He smirked. I smirked back. "Well, we're not in your country are we?" I asked. He laughed. An amazing, almost forbidden sound for a person like him. It was not right that someone like him could have such a dazzling laugh. But then it was not right that he had such a beautiful face either. I looked at him with my mouth forming a small o. I was completely dazed by a hitman, and as I tried to process that though I just couldn't look away. When he looked back at me his face instantly changed back to emotionless. It was scary how fast he could change emotions. "So you're saying that you have no idea why anyone would want you dead?" he asked authoritatively. I nodded. "Yes, please, I didn't do anything, you probably got the wrong person." I pleaded getting back to struggling out of the ropes. He smirked again. "I never get the wrong person." He said as he pulled out a gun and pointed it at my head. I gasped. "No, please. I swear I didn't do anything." I begged. I was trying as hard as I could to refrain my tears. I would not give into tears in front of a heartless murderer. He was going to kill me whether I cried or not. "Close your eyes." He said. "No." I said gathering the tiniest amount of courage I had left. I was looking him straight into the eyes, showing him that I would not give into fear. "Just close your eyes." He ordered more roughly this time. "I will not." I said trough my teeth. As much as I was trying to be courageous I knew this was the end. I took a deep breath and waited hoping deep down that it would end soon and it won't hurt as much as I feared. Suddenly he lowered his gun. "You hungry?" he asked. I was perplexed. This was a weird turn of event and I didn't know what to answer. I was wrestling with my words as I tried to give him an answer. "Aren't you going to kill me?" I asked. Of course, that was the most stupid thing I could say and I said it. It's like I wanted to die. He laughed. "If you want me to." He answered. For a moment I couldn't answer because I got lost in his laugh again. I was thinking he was trying to show me another side to him. A better one I hoped. "No! Absolutely not!" I answered quickly when I finally realised what he said. He smiled. "Then dinner it is." He said and undid my ropes. When the ropes fell on the floor I felt like I could breathe normally again. I looked at my hands and there were red bruises left. I stroked my wrists hoping the pain would lessen but it didn't. He looked at me carefully but he didn't show sign of regret. I guess it was too soon. He led me out of the dark room and into a small hall with five other doors. "Where are we?" I asked looking around. There was no furniture at all in the hall, not even windows. The only thing in it was a small light on the ceiling. Just by seeing the hall I could tell this house was abandoned. "This is where I'm staying until I finish the job." He answered. I looked at him with the corner of my eye. "The job being me right?" I asked carefully. "Right." He answered simply. "So why then are you giving me dinner?" I asked confused. "I'm being polite." He answered. "And I'm being confused. Are you going to poison me?" I asked in fear. "Because I'd rather get shot, I believe it to be less painful." I said, I wasn't sure myself if I was joking or not. He smirked. "Then you believe wrong. There are poisons that don't make you feel pain at all when you die. And besides, poison is a woman weapon. I prefer guns." He said. I raised my eyebrows at him, this conversation was wrong in every sense. "So you're not going to poison me?" I asked hopefully. He smirked. "No, I'm not." He answered. I let out a sigh of relief. "Follow me." he said as he went through the doors at the end of the hall. I followed after him into a large space with just a table and two chairs. There was a stove too and a small fridge but that was all there was. It was empty just like the hall. The small window at the other side of the room was closed with blinds, so the only provided light was a dusty old chandelier from the ceiling. The empty space gave me a spooky sensation like the house was haunted. I sat on one of the chairs as he told me to and waited. He took out of the fridge a few eggs and fried them. He placed the eggs on two plates that he took out of the oven and sled one plate across the table towards me. He sat on the other chair, careful not to get too close to me. I wasn't sure if he was being cautious or was trying not to scare me more than I already was. I looked at the eggs, it was nothing special but now that he placed them in front of me I noticed how hungry I was and I was glad he made them. Thankfully he also decided to make them in front of me so I was sure there were no ill ingredients in them. He split a piece of bread in two and gave me a piece. I looked at him suspiciously, waiting to see if he'll take the first bite. He smiled slightly and started eating. Slowly I followed and we ate in silence. When we were done he got up and pulled me with him. "Where are we going now?" I asked confused. "Back to your room." He answered coldly. "You're taking me back there? But why?" I asked starting to feel my fear rise again. He didn't look at me nor did he answer. I looked down and noticed his gun peeking from his pants. An idea occur to me and I responded according to it. I grabbed the gun and pointed it towards him. I backed a few steps so he wouldn't get any ideas of taking the gun from me. He stepped towards me with his hands in the air. "Stop, don't come near me. I'll shoot you I swear!" I said with my voice cracking. I was shaking all over, I was barely holding that damn gun with both my hands and I wasn't even sure if I was holding it right. He stepped forward again. "Don't!" I screamed. I looked around me in search for a way out. All the doors looked the same, I had no idea how to get out of this place. He took another step towards me and I panicked. I shook the gun towards him and accidentally it fired.
