Callie's pov
"How would that even work Brandon. You're already married and I'm your sister. " I questioned in a hushed voice.
"It won't be easy cal be we can do it. You leave Jamie and I'll leave Eliza" His eyes sparkled as he told me his plan.
"But we're still brother and sister Brandon we can't get married. " I told him.
"Not in California. But we can go to Colorado. We can tell everyone that after our breakups we needed to get away. We play it off as a road trip and we elope. We don't have to tell anyone at all until were ready. We can do this Callie we can. Marry me. " He grabbed my hands and I kissed him.
"Okay Brandon. Let's do it. "
"Okay but we have to make sure we don't look suspicious. I'll tell Eliza that we shouldn't be married and while we work that out you should become more distant with Jamie. Get him to break up with you. Eliza knows that we have a past and we don't want her to get suspicious and tell the family. " He explained. I agreed and he went home.
The next couple of weeks were pretty slow. I avoided Jamie to the best of my ability, well really I avoided everyone. Marianna was convinced that I was depressed, so I went along with it. Only Brandon knew my ploy and so no one questioned his motives when he announced that Eliza had left and he was getting a divorce.
We hardly saw each other in this time in fear of looking suspicious. This was our secret and nobody needed to know except us.
