Pizza night is always the night when things go down, whether anyone likes it or not, there has to be one commotion of the night. And usually, it's all jokes, and people don't really get offended. It's more that they're mocking it, and trying to get you to punch their lights out. And that's the best part, when they start wrestling, destroying everything in their paths.
Basically illegal fighting when bets start to get thrown out. Sometimes Jake and Sam will go at it, forcing Tara and Katrina to cheer on their respective lover. But sometimes there is betrayal of that for a good reason. Sometimes your boyfriend is smaller than the other dude, so you're forced to cheer on the other guy. Or maybe you just don't hold the same opinion.
For example, you've watched Colby and Jake duke it out so many times before. Things between them can get pretty heated, and it's funny for you and Tara to watch. At one point they were worried that it would start a feud between you two. The both of you literally laughed at them because of how ridiculous it was. Not even gonna lie, if they were to break up, or if you were to break up wit Colby, you'd still talk to Tara and the rest of the girls. None of you guys have beef, so there's no reason for you to stop hanging out.
Sometimes there's more than one guy involved in the fights. It's happened a couple of times before when Jake, Colby and Sam begin to all pull at each other. Fake punches being thrown and all. And either you move out of the way when that happens or risk getting thrown in the middle. Reggie learned his lesson with that one time.
He said something to Jake, probably an insult or something. Tara had punched his arm but Jake just dragged him on in. It spilled the drink almost literally everywhere and it wasn't until they'd calmed down, where you could clean it up. But at that point, they'd all been rolling around in it, so it was basically cleaned up anyway.
The biggest fight you've seen, Colby wasn't involved and he purposely got the fuck out of the way to avoid being pulled in. It's mainly because Colby was involved for the start of the fight and so naturally people wanted him to pay for it. But the second that Mike got involved, dear lord did people forget about Colby quickly.
The fight consisted of Sam, Jake, Reggie, Mike, Griffin, and Corey. Real punches were thrown, many of them dodged. So then they punched the floor instead, mainly Mike had that happen to him. He was trying to get back at Jake who had said some not nice words to him at the beginning of the night. And Mike had warned Jake that the second a fight starts, he's going to join in and it's on sight.
Anyway, fights can break out for various reasons. Like you said, they're mostly joking factors, and it's just to start getting the blood pumping again. Or lighten up the night again. But very rarely, the fights get personal, and people stop realizing that they've crossed a line.
Most of the people at pizza night is taken. Katrina and Sam are together, by far the cutest couple in the room, no lie. Jake and Tara, Reggie and Cassie, you and Colby. On occasion Xepher and Griffin will come and hang out.
And then there's the people that aren't taken, Devyn and Corey–you haven't seen them both at the same pizza night so far but you're sure that the time is coming–Mike, Aryia, Kevin, etc.
