Annabelle hated serving the weird people who sat at the back of the cafe.
She wasn't particularly fond of serving them because they were the people who always did weird things on their computers.
Once, she caught a guy watching a movie about how cows eat. One time she saw a dad reasearching the term, "how to parent like a boss." Another time, there was a girl who was scrolling some website about the mating cycles of Geese.
Who wants to know about geese?
Never the less, the whole point was that she designated that section of the cafe to the weird people who didn't want other people knowing what they were watching. Obviously the didn't realize that she has to walk past their screens in order to get to the kitchen.
"Have you ever known someone who was interested in the length of the longest inchworm in history was?"
She heard Luke chuckle over the phone.
"No, but I have a friend who's a little bit too interested in dogs."
"Ew. I would consider getting new friends if I were you."
"My friends basically suck but I wouldn't trade them for the world."
"Not even backstage concert tickets?"
Anna looked over the counter to see the last customer sitting in that dreaded back corner. He looked like he was focused on something important, but then again, so was everyone else who sat in that corner.
"Depends on who I'm going to see. Like I wouldn't trade them for a singer, but maybe a band."
Annabelle was going to respond when she suddenly heard the words "Looking at Adam Levine's butt is like eating ice cream during a breakup. You never know how much you need it until you realize that you need it."
It must've been loud enough to be heard over the phone because Luke suddenly responded with what they were both thinking:
"Well I guess the Booty is in the eye of the beholder."
{A.N.}
Well then.
How are ya'll? I hope you're good. I'm okay.
Especially since i'm back with lamer ideas than ever!
Also - photo creds to the original artist for the picture bc IT SURE AS HECK AINT MINE. IF I COULD DO STUFF LIKE THAT, i'd probably abuse my power... But yeah.
