Tyrus Oneshots (COMPLETED)

The Worst

Cyrus had become increasingly close to TJ in the past week. Despite being somewhat of a bully in the past, TJ seemed to change whenever Cyrus was around.

Andi, Buffy and Jonah were all very surprised by how the taller boy became soft and gentle around their best friend, but sadly they weren't willing to accept he had changed.

At the spoon, Cyrus had been preparing to meet TJ, when he saw his friends. He was confused about the concerned look on their faces.

"Are you okay?" Cyrus wondered.

"Not really" Andi responded.

"We're worried about you" Buffy added.

"Worried, why?" Cyrus reacted.

"We think that TJ is leading you on" Jonah explained.

Cyrus suddenly felt very angry, which was rare if anything. He was so annoyed that his friends were trying to ruin this for him.

"Why can't you just let me have another friend?" Cyrus challenged.

"You can" Andi responded "We can't stop you, but we just don't want you to get hurt"

"Yeah right" Cyrus scoffed "Next you'll be telling me that you want me to be alone all the time"

"What? Of course not" Jonah argued "But don't you think it's strange that TJ bullies everyone, but you?"

"No, he doesn't bully people anymore" Cyrus insisted "He promised me that he had changed, and I believe him"

"But---" Jonah began before being interrupted.

"And by the way, the only thing I find strange is how jealous you all are!" Cyrus boomed "Now leave me alone, clearly you are not my friends!"

Cyrus stormed off, with Andi, Buffy and Jonah following him closely in an attempt to show him they meant well.

When he exited the spoon, he spotted TJ down the road, beating up a younger kid from the year below them.

"You loser, no one likes you" TJ spluttered "Me doing this is for the best!"

Cyrus ran over to intervene, with the others close behind. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, and felt a fool.

"What are you doing?!" Cyrus demanded "I thought you had changed"

"But I have" TJ responded "I only hurt him a little"

"The fact you hurt him at all is horrible" Cyrus persisted "I can't be friends with anyone who is a bully"

"Fine, be like that" TJ muttered "But don't ever talk to me again!"

"Don't worry, I won't" Cyrus pledged.

As the older boy walked away, Cyrus turned back to his friends. They all gave him a sympathetic look, and he felt silly.

"I'm sorry I didn't trust you" Cyrus apologised "I really thought he would change"

"Sadly, bullies don't really change" Andi commented.

"Some do, but others never will" Buffy corrected.

"Besides, you don't need him" Jonah said "You've got us"

Cyrus felt like crying, but at the same time, he was so happy to have his friends back, and knew that they were only looking out for him.
