"Ok so let me get this straight, you kissed your childhood close friend or whatever but then friend zoned him?" Noah questioned while driving and shooting me looks through the rear view mirror.

"Damn that's harsh little one." Leo chuckled lightly.

"I know and I feel so bad. I really need to keep my emotions under control, I mean I feel like all I'm doing is playing Clayton." I admitted while stroking Zoé's cheek.

"Nah, you aren't meant for him anyway. Don't stress Dells, I mean you said Shawn turned up right?" Leo asked and I gave him a nod.

"Well the Clayton probably figured out that you two are close. Like close, close." He finished.

"But Shawn and I are best friends that's it." I persisted with a stern tone.

"Don't give us that bullshit Delané." Noah rolled his eyes in the mirror.

"What a load of crap. The way you look at him, it's like he's the only guy in the world." Leo smirked while turning around to face me from the front seat.

"I- I don't know ok!" I yelled under pressure.

"You like him Dell." Noah persisted.

"No she doesn't like him, she loves him." Leo teased.

"Ok fine!" I screamed. Crap, they made me crack.

"I Delané Santos like Shawn Peter Rual Mendes!" It felt good to admit it to someone finally but then I became nervous, what if they'd tell Shawn.

"There we are. Just needed to hear it directly from you to confirm it." Leo smirked yet again.

"Mama Dell's got a crush on her best friend!" Noah teased with glee.

"When you put it like that it sounds bad." I mumbled while taking taking off my jumper and readjusting the position I had Zoé in.

"Oh god, don't tell me your going to breastfeed your little sister." Leo gaped while covering his eyes with his hands.

"Leo!! It was just getting hot in here, besides she has a milk bottle." I replied in a slightly shocked voice.

"I understand why it's so hot in here." Noah said from the front with a wide grin.

"Eww! Your gross No!" I shook my head as he and Leo laughed.

This was going to be one hell of a car drive. Why, oh why, had I asked Noah and Leo of all people to drive me to Starbucks.
