"So Dells, tell me, what's been up with you lately? I'm honestly worried about you. You know me, I'm always going to be here for you and you know I trust you with all my heart." Aria said calmly while resting her hand on top of mine.
"I know Ari, we've been the closest of friends since kindergarten, I trust you with all my heart too it's just. You'll think I'm some sort of vulnerable little girl who's playing the victim to stuff that's not even harmful." I said under my breath; who would understand how I feel in this situation?
"Dells I'm not trying to pressure you into telling me anything, ok? Just, I'm not going to judge, unless of course you start rambling on about some weird guy you like." She chuckled while I let out a giggle.
"Ah, it's nothing like that."
"Then what is it like?" Aria queered with furrowed brows.
"Shawn." I stated and I saw the look on her face turn into disgust as she rolled her eyes.
"Ugh, not him. Please not him. Look Dells I know you like him and all, he's your best friend; but what he did with you, ignoring you for months on end and spending all that time with that high hat Camila; he doesn't deserve you."
The atmosphere was getting tense as Ari clenched her jaw around the straw for her bubble tea. I bit my lip nervously as I thought of something to say to calm her down. She'd always had it in for Shawn ever since that whole ignorant phase he went through.
"Ari, he apologised!" I whined.
"I know, I know, I just care about you. I don't want you to get hurt." She admitted with her hands in the air.
"I know you do but this isn't about liking him. Shawn's fans they attack me through social media all the time. Every morning I wake up to find thousands of new insults against me. Even in real life when I seen them on the street, some of them have the nerve to say something nasty to me. It's like none of the Mendes Army even like me."
I let out a long, deep sigh. Admitting everything that'd been happening to me for so long felt so good yet so terrifying because what was I supposed to do now? What if Ari didn't believe me?
"Those little shi-!" Ari yelled before I slapped my hand against her mouth. She gave me an angry look before calming down a little. I pulled my hand away and sunk back into my chair.
"Dells why haven't you said anything? You've obviously been hurting so much just because those so called Mendes Army people can't stand seeing their idol or one true love enjoying their life with someone they love. That's what you call ultimate jealousy." Ari rolled her eyes yet again and scoffed.
I took a sip of my lemonade and looked into her eyes.
"I don't know what to do, I really don't wanna tell Shawn.."
