stretch marks
along my thighs,
stomach, and arms
a rippling tide
luring me back
to the sea;
drowning in irrationality,
i've been thrown overboard.waves of the ocean
a hello from afar,
learning to love my body
isn't an easy feat
but i've been shipwrecked,
and i will grasp onto the broken pieces,
mending the wood together,
making a stronger vessel to thrive.
