Waking up next to someone was weird, lalo na kay elle, she's used to being alone, she's used to starting her day thinking about herself lang and no one else.
But here she was staring at brent, the sun wasn't up, darkness was showing how peaceful he looks sleeping, inangat niya ng konti ang ulo niya to look at basti who was still sleeping.
"ang hirap mo namang iwan." she whispered, sadly smiling.
Alam ni elle na kailanman ay hindi niya mapapantayan si grace sa puso ni brent. Grace made brent feel love in a short amount of time, oras lang ang kulang sakanila. Dahan-dahang inalis ni elle ang buhok na nasa noo ni brent, she smiled when she saw his face better.
Dahan-dahang tinanggal ni elle ang pagkakayakap ni brent sakanya, she didn't want to wake him up as she leaves.
"No" Brent whispered, pulling her close to him.
"boss, aalis na ako." bulong ni elle, umiling si brent.
"stay here with me." he said, his voice husky, tinaas ni elle ang kumot na ipinagtaka ni brent.
"Chineck ko lang, ang hot kasi ng boses mo, nahulog ata panty ko boss brent" she joked and laughed, ngumiti si brent at yinakap siya ng mas mahigpit.
"Come with me later?" brent asked, kissing elle's shoulder.
"saan?"
"magsisimba tayo." elle just nodded and closed her eyes.
Brent was used to waking up to the sound of basti's cries, but this day he woke up to the sound of nursery rhymes playing over the television and basti laughing.
"good morning." he said, smiling at the sight of elle feeding basti while basti was watching nursery rhyme videos.
"sorry, wala na kasi akong makitang ibang shirt and natapunan ni basti kanina yung damit ko." she said, tumango lang si brent, even if elle wearing his shirt reminded him of grace.
"may food na dyan sa mesa, kumain ka na boss." she said, wiping the corner of basti's mouth.
"ikaw? Kumain ka na?" brent asked elle, tumango si elle at nagpatuloy sa pagpapakain kay basti.
"sarap" sabi ni elle, carrying basti who was laughing. Hindi naman malaman ni brent kung patanong ito or statement because elle was focused on basti.
"alin?" tanong ni brent, it was the usual breakfast, dapat ba magical ang lasa ng sinangag?
"ikaw, sarap ka." Elle joked laughing at herself. Brent rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Ano oras misa?" elle asked, tumingin si brent sa wall clock.
"9:00 daw sabi ni mommy p" he said, elle nodded and looked at basti.
"Ligo na kami ni bebe, sinong bebe, ikaw na bebe." elle said, blowing raspberries at basti's chunky arms.
"paliguan ko lang basti." sabi ni elle kay brent, brent nodded but hinila niya ang kamay ni elle before letting her leave.
"thank you." he said, tumango si elle at ngumiti lang.
Her heart was beating so fast that it scares her, paano kung makahanap si brent ng mas better kay elle, ng mas katulad ni grace.
But all of her thoughts went away when basti grabbed her face and hugged her.
"wub, wub." aside from papa and a few sounds, this might be the second word basti ever said.
"Love?" tanong ni elle, basti nodded and splashed the water around him, looking at elle and laughing.
