Their favorite game, they know just what to do.
A chess piece here and a check or two.
They laugh and dance across the board.
They slice and gash the checkered floor.
Careless and clumsy, but they know their opponents all too well.
They cheat, they lie, and put you under a spell.
Soon your trapped, your hopeless, your doomed.
Now they know just what to do to you..
" A game! A game!" They shout about.
"It's just a silly little game" they rip your heart out.
Blood and end trails all over the floor.
The pain, the embarrassment, you can't take much more.
Finally escape, run for the hill.
But no one will believe you, nothing you spill.
Oh honey, they still feed everyone else around you
The game is still going on, more jokes, cheats, lies, and pretty little beats to dance to.
Oh honey, their victims are still so blind to their funny little tricks.
It's ok, just wait one day, nothing now for you to fix.
A black dot still lingers from your fingers those days.
So small, not growing, but never going away.
You cross my thoughts so little it's a wonder I ever cared.
Oh but then, I see you once more, and my anger rises there.
Oh a fool, you are! you didn't see.
That I was the joker you tried so desperately to be.
Your other chess pieces are so loyal, so forgiving, so kind.
But it was me, who lied, and cheated this time.
How funny you look. The fool, who never knew.
How embarrassing it must be to find out , that I had beat you.
