Of all the monsters I've held so near I made sure to push yours away. But here you are crawling back at night. Are you here to stay? Of all the pain, yours was the quickest, and of all the anger, yours burns low. So why are you here now? What do you want? Can you please just let me go? Loosing sleep, hard to dream, with our past creeping up. A joker you were, but now the fool, who's jester's belt had wrenched my gut. Now trepidation, terror, and fright has filled your void once more. That panic rises, the anger follows. I'm left screaming on the floor. So little influence we shared, in such a short amount of time.
But hurt can be buried, and anger postponed. And now once more I'm fine.
