Chapter 6- The Truth Behind It All

Kathryn's Chambers- 8pm

Kathryn is in her pyjamas tucked safely back in bed with her TV on with Jesse on the right side of the bed and Alice sitting in the middle bit of the bottom of Kathryn's bed.

"Today has been an extremely eventful day and it was only your first official day here as well. kind of makes me fear thinking of what could happen next" Alice points out worried about recent events.

"Yeah me too, I knew my first day was going to be big and was going to leave a long lasting memory for everyone but i didn't expect it to happen like this " Kathryn reveals having thought the day would have went entirely different.

" I didn't even realise you were going to be in so much danger just being here. Now i feel guilty for wishing you could be here" Jesse says feeling guilty about his wish.

" You don't need to feel guilty, I actually love being ever despite what happened today. I'm not going to change how i feel just because of some little accident" Kathryn says trying to make Jesse feel better.Kathryn squeals in pain when she moves to take a drink of juice.

"You look like you are in a hell of a lot of pain, do you want us to let you sleep?" Alice asks concerned for her friend

"Hell no and anyway if you guys did leave the chances of me actually going to sleep would be very slim." Kathryn refuses to listen to her

" Yeah i think we gathered that after you showed up for supper. I swear i could have picked you up and taken you back to bed as soon as i seen you" Jesse says infuriated

"I had a reason for what i did, Anyway i don't want to talk about this anymore. Can we please talk about something else?" Kathryn asks trying to change the subject

"Yeah i suppose, Do you want to talk about what you wanted to talk to me about earlier?" Jesse brings up to their prior conversation.

"Yeah sure, As long as Alice doesn't mind in case it gets uncomfortable" Kathryn answers looking at Alice.

"Nope I'm fine sat here, talk away. I'm sure i will find away to get involved" Alice points out

" I wanted to talk to you about the fact you lied to me" Kathryn opens up still angry with him over it.

"I really am sorry for that but i had a good reason for it" Jesse responds guilty

"Why couldn't you have just told me the truth from the beginning? I would have believed you." Kathryn questions him and everything he has ever told her.

"At the time i was worried about how you would react and i didn't want to seem insane." Jesse answers truthfully.

"Yeah i understand where he is coming from, How did you guys meet anyway?" Alice asks curiously wanting more insight on the couple.

"We met a year and a half ago. I was in her town with a bunch of friends when i seen this girl in the cutest pair of pyjamas and my breath was just taken away then some rich guy was in the shop hitting on her. When she refused to go out with him he turned pretty aggressive so i intervened and you could say i saved her life" Jesse answers her thinking back on that day

"Really it was that boring?" Alice screws up her face having expected something better than that.

"Yeah it really was but i was pretty grateful that he saved me from that guy so i agreed to go on a date with him and things went pretty well from that point on" Kathryn replies with a smile.
