"Ok ok ok! So you are actually getting better at singing, that's a plus," Jessica smiled.

I stared at her blankly.

"Don't look at me like that!" She whined. "I'm doing this to shut you up about needing a hobby!"

"And to flirt..." I pointed out.

"Mostly for you though!" She shook her head. "Let's just continue... let's start up from Helpless," she said.

"But wouldn't we start off from Schuyler Sisters since that's where we both are in at? Don't you need practice to?" I pointed out.

She gave a small laugh.
"Trust me I don't need to practice 24/7 for this role," she smirked.

Suddenly my phone buzzed.

Jess and I both made eye contact.

"No," she warned.
"Yes," I said.

I walked over and grabbed my phone to see it was a text message from Stephen.

Stephen: Hey!

I smiled.

Me: Hey what's up?

I looked up at Jessica.

"Let's take a break I guess..." she sighed.

I smirked and pointed at her. "Ayyyye!"

She paused and looked at me confused for a second until she started laughing.
"Good job, didn't even mean to do that, she said as she sat down on the couch.

Stephen and I continued texting each other while Jessica played games on her phone.

"Weren't you and Stephen like besties towards the end of the trip? Do you two keep in touch still?" I asked suddenly as I remembered that I've been meaning to talk to her about them.

"Oh yeah. We talk like every day still, he's pretty cool." Jess said while keeping her eyes on her phone.

"That's cool... I think you'd make a cute couple," I said.

She looked at me. "Really?" She asked.

"Yeah. Overdramatized everything, attractive people, and you two clicked like instantly. Perfect couple right there," I said as I continued texting him.

I looked over to see her shaking her head.

"You're cute..." she laughed.

"Huh?" I asked.

She turned her body around and faced me and placed her phone down on the table.

"Don't go doing what you always do by pushing your crushes on me when you think that I like them," she said.

"T-That's not what I'm doing! I don't like Stephen!" I squeaked.

"Really?"

"Yes..." I said only then realizing the unsureness in my voice.

She leaned over and took my phone. She unlocked it and scrolled through my messages with Stephen.

"So many memes... much flirting," she laughed.

My face went pink as she scrolled through the phone.
"How do you even know my password?"

"It's literally what you use for everything." She pointed out.

She placed my phone down.

"You have to like at least one of the guys, who is it?" She asked.

I stared at her. For as long as I've known her, she was always one step ahead of me. Always knowing when I liked someone before I knew it. It was useless to try to hide it.

She leaned closer to me. Her light brown eyes burning into my e/c ones.

"Maybe, you're into the brains like Danny boy..." I slowly backed away as she spoke.

"Or the sweet ones like Hosuh?"

She smirked.

"The crazies like Stephen or Jay?"

She paused, then she sat down in her original spot and brought her hand to her face in a position that reminded me of an anime character.

"Or maybe..." she smirked.
"You like all them?"

"What?! No no no no! That's not it!" I yelped.

"Really?" She questioned. Her smirk remaining on her face.

"I don't like any of them!" I said.

She sighed and shrugged.
"Fine," she said as she leaned over and took a McDonald's French fry and dipped it in her barbecue sauce. "But you know you've been on break for like ten minutes now. Time to get back to work," she placed the French fry in her mouth and then stood up.

"Ok..." I mumbled as I stood up.

"Start off with helpless, ready set..."
