I won't do anything stupid...

A/n: Sooo this is my second chapter today! I'm enjoying the shorter chapter but what do you guys think? Do you like longer chapters or shorter chapters with the possibility of multiple short chapters being uploaded a day? 

I woke up to my phone buzzing like crazy. I turned over to see it was Jay calling, but sickness hit me quickly. Ignoring the hangover I grabbed my phone and answered him.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Y/n! I- I don't know what to do!" Jay cried out.

"What happened?" I asked sitting up. The sick feeling disappeared faintly as fear settled in.

"I was just joking around and some messages were sent out and now-"

"Jay! Calm down! Explain slowly what is wrong."

"I was talking to one of my female friends, and we were joking around. I don't know how but some of the jokes got leaked and... just go check online..."

I put him on speaker and switched to twitter. My heart dropped at everything I saw. "Oh my god... Jay I'm so sorry." I switched to discord, lots of people were online and arguing on what the truth was about the reason he called me. Then instagram, where people were either accusing him of sexual harassment or defending him.

"Jay.." Was all I could get out before my door swung open.

"Morning you alcoholic! I made you eggs and a shit ton of water for that hangover and... what happened?!" Jessica's bright smile disappeared as she looked at me.

"Hey Jessica..." Jay said.

"Hey...? Is everything okay?" Jessica asked. Then she looked down at her phone and froze. "No it's not apparently..."

"Jay, I'm reading them right now. It's obvious this is all some kind of joke, I have no idea why people are twisting this..."

"Because they see Danplan drama," I cringed slightly at Jessica's words. I hated remembering the drama that was going down. "Dying down and they need something to hate on."

"Jay, don't worry. Jessica, Skylar, Stephen, Gavin and I will help-"

"No... I don't want to but... I think I need to just leave youtube and social media all together." Jay said.

"What! But what about-"

"I don't want to drag you guys down with me."

"Jay I can take the hate, I don't care if these idiots come for my head! I care for you and I won't let them go after you like this and think they can destroy us!" I snapped.

"Y/n! Listen!" Jay yelled through the phone. I paused.

"I'm going to quit." He said.

"Jay, you don't have to do this..." My voice cracked slightly.

"I do. I wanted you to know this so you weren't so shocked when I delete everything, you weren't so shocked. And you deserve to know what happened.

"Yeah..." Was all I could get out.

"Don't say anything that'll get you in trouble..."

"Okay..."

"Take me off speaker for a second..." Jessica looked at me weirded out. I turned the speaker phone off.

"Okay you're off."

"I mean it. Don't do anything that can harm your career." Jay said. "I already screwed up, you can't."

"I told you I won't." I said.

"Okay. I'm sorry for repeating myself so much but I can't stand to even imagine you protecting me and get hurt in the process. I love you too much."

I paused. "Me to Jay...

We fell silent. "I won't do anything stupid." I said breaking it.

"I'm gonna start recording the video... Bye..." Jay said.

"Bye..."

I hung up and looked at Jessica.

"I need way more wine."

"WHAT HAPPENED?!"
