A/n: This one is gonna be 🌶️ spicy🌶️

I got off the plane only to see Dan right away.

I gave a small smile. "Wow, you actually showed up before me? Is the world ending or something?" I joked.

He smiled and rolled his eyes. "I can just leave you here you know."

"No!" I said quickly. "I mean, let's go."

We got to his house and just sat down and watched tv. It wasn't the most interesting thing in the world to do, but I always found myself more entertained by anything when Dan was around. I could do something as simple as playing on my phone but I'd be having a blast if Dan was in the room while I played it. Maybe because I just naturally enjoyed his company.

"Daaaaaan!" I stretched his name as I nudged his shoulder with my foot. He glanced at me but went back to focusing on his phone.

"Daaaaaaaaan!" I cried out again but louder this time as I nudged him a little harder with my foot. He continued to ignore me but I took notice of the small smile cracking.

"DAN!" I yelled, then with one swift movement I kicked his phone and sent it up in the air.

"Crap!" He flinched. He turned to say something to me but was cut off by his phone landing with a thump on his lap.

The two of us stared at each other in silence besides the tv that we weren't paying attention to. Then suddenly we both broke own into a fit of laughter.

"You're so dumb," He shook his head as he laughed.

"Well if you payed attention to me then you would have avoided that!" I pointed out. He rolled his eyes.

"What did you want anyways?" He asked.

"You're damn attention!" I sat up and wrapped my arms around him and slowly rolled into his lap. "You're so boring!" I mumbled.

"Yeah I'm sure you'd much more prefer staying with anyone else." He chuckled lightly as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Yeah but I always stay with you whenever this crap happens!" I pointed out.

"True. You'd be lost without me-" I lightly punched Dan as he spoke.

"You're narcissism is coming out." I pointed out.

We both laughed a little as we looked at each other. We remained quiet, just staring at each other, until Dan broke the silence. "I'm glad I still have you as a friend..."

The words were really sudden and hard hitting. I had began to forget about the drama that had happened before. Life just went back to normal eventually and I never looked back once I made up with Dan, I quit thinking about how it must have felt. Then again I never questioned how he felt with that drama, I just took notice that Stephen was hurting and I blamed Dan...

Shit.

What a crappy friend I am...

I stared off, the guilt settled in.

"Why did you try to become my friend again..." I blurted out, taking us both by surprise.

"What?" Dan asked, clearly shocked.

"I never let you get your side of the story out at first. Stephen told me his side and I instantly blamed you... I acted like I knew everything, a good friend shouldn't do that so why did you try to take me back?"

He remained quiet for a bit. I could only assume he was thinking about why he even tried to get me back.

"That's easy," He said suddenly. I looked up at him, ready to listen carefully to him. "For starters, we've been friends for so long. I know the family issues you went through, I know about the way people you once trusted turned on you and tried to hurt you. My assumption is that you felt hurt because you saw those moments coming back but through me, it also didn't help that Jack and Jasmine were suddenly back in your life..." He explained. I looked down, the ability to look at him seemed nearly impossible. He squeezed me into a full on hug while he continued on, "then when you were gone I realized something else."

Being like this brought back those memories.

We stumbled through the party, completely drunk out of our minds. It was one thing to be drunk, it was another that this was our first time of drinking and we were heavily drunk already.

"Da-an" I slurred as I pulled him into one room. "I looove you!" The drunken words spills from my lips as easily as the alcohol spilled from the bottle. I pulled him in to a deep kiss. He wrapped his arms around me hungrily as we stumbled blindly through the unfamiliar room. Once we fell onto a bed, we awkwardly moved around, occasionally taking a struggle to remove a jacket or shirt, until I was on his lap and holding me close. He looked at me with those loving eyes as he leaned over and whispered into my ear.

"I love you," Dan whispered, breaking my memory. We looked at each other and quickly enclosed the little space that was between us as we locked lips. He ran his hands down to my waist and held onto me tightly as he pulled me down onto the couch.

Time skip

"I want my damn food!" I reached out as Dan walked in the house after grabbing dinner from my favorite fast food place.

"Wait a minute," He laughed as he walked around me. "I can't tell who begs for food more you or Winter... never mind I know, it's you!" He sat down and set the food in front of him and took his own food out.

"I'm sorry! I forgot to eat because I was editing mine and your damn videos!" I pointed out as I pulled out the box of my food out. I shifted around on the couch until I was leaning against the arm while my legs rested on Dan's lap. "Since we started dating I've tripled out in work and food!"

"Tripled?"

"Doing my own videos," I held up one figure. "Editing your damn videos," I held up another finger. "Taking care of you!" I help up my third finger.

He shook his head. "I'm the one who brought food!"

"But I have to stop you from doing stupid shit!"

He fell silent. His silence equaled my victory.

We flipped on an anime as we ate our dinner. Everything suddenly felt perfect as hell.
