You had been a loser ever since you came to Derry during Freshman year of high school. You sat next to a guy, named Stanley Uris in English class and you had to proofread an essay of his.

The topic was whatever you wanted, he had written about birds. This interested you enough to start up a conversation with him after class.

Luckily you had lunch with him as well, and he invited you to sit with him warning you about his friends.

Bill, the stutter and brave one. Eddie, the germaphobe and argumentive one. Richie, the trashmouth and perve. Ben, the cuddly and smart one. Mike, the silent and wise one. Beverly, the strong-headed and sassy one.

Thankfully everyone was inviting and loved having you around, thus making you a loser. Now it's junior year, and everyone was on edge with all of the school work you had.

Bill had suggested a weekend dedicated to stress-free activities that would involve ice cream, the quarry and hanging out at his house.

Little did he know that any situation with Stan was stressful since you had a crush him.

In the middle of the night, most the pipes in your house had burst, interrupting your sleep with the loud noise.

You stayed up the rest of the night helping your parents plan when the plumbers could come and fix it.

When you told them what had happened, you were told it would take the whole day to fix. Since you already had plans, your parents told you to leave and to not worry about it.

The day with the losers had erased the memories of the previous night and lifted your spirits from the stress of school.

Ice cream had gone well with Richie making comments toward the cashier while ordering. Then, the manager got involved throwing you out after you paid. So maybe it wasn't the best, but it was fun.

After the losers got upset with Richie, they ate their ice cream while walking to the quarry. Eddie had a mini seizure talking about how they should wait an hour before swimming.

They waited for thirty minutes to make Eddie feel better but, after that, they all jumped in. It's always entertaining hanging out with the losers, especially when you take them into their element.

Sure, they all have a different element. Bill and Bev in town, Stan in the park, Ben at the library, Eddie at the pharmacy, Mike at the butcher's shop, Richie at the arcade, and Y/n at y/e.

But when they're all put together, they shone through at the quarry. You had a chicken fight, dunked people, and just messed around.

Afterwards, you were to head over to Bill's house, but you couldn't stand it when you smell like quarry water.

Usually, you would just go home quickly and then meet them later, but the plumbers were still at your house fixing the drainage system.

Since Beverly's dad was creepy and didn't really like her to have people over. You just told the group your situation and only two others offered up their houses.

Richie Tozier and Stanley Uris.

"You're always welcome to shower at mine" Richie flirted.

You decided it would be best to go over to Stanely's since you were also closer to him than Richie. You both began to leave letting others know that you would catch up with them soon.

You took a hot shower rushing to get to Bill's house on time. When you're done with your shower, usually you want to put on a fresh pair of clothes to feel clean.

Unfortunately, you weren't home so you decided to ask Stan if he had any clothes that you could borrow any clothing.

After squeezing most of the water out of your hair, you wrapped a towel around your body. You creeped out of Stan's bathroom that was connected to his bedroom.

You saw his mop of hair looking down reading his book while sitting on his bed. His face lifted slowly hearing the door squeak open.

Stan's cheeks quickly dusted a light pink shade while his head snapped back down.

"Hey, Stan. Do you mind if I borrow some clothes?"

"Oh, uh nope not at all, do not mind." He kept his head down, shaking it while stumbling with his words.

You searched through his drawers picking out a blue button-up and khaki shorts.

You went back into the bathroom to change and let Stan know that you were almost done. After changing you hung your clothes to dry over the bathtub.

You walked out of the bathroom to get Stan and his eyes were right on you from the moment you opened the door.

"Ready to go?" Y/n asked Stanley

holy shit she's going to be the death of me

"Yeah, let's go."
