I am sitting in my office finalizing everything for the gala, making sure that everyone who RSVP has a seat and I keep the peace—drifting through today's class where James impressed me a little, the fact that he was able to keep up and stay on beat with me. I can't help but be impressed.
She was pulling me out of my thoughts, a knock on my door. "Enter" with that said, my shy assistant walks in with even more paperwork for me to sign. Hurray, excellent, just what I wanted."Ms.Williams, your mother called and wanted to know if you would be home for dinner." She says in her soft tone voice.
"You can let her know I won't be. The Olsen's will be coming in for a meeting, definitely keeping me here late." She nodded, taking my answer as a sign for her to leave. "Do me a favor please, set up a room in the hotel for Friday; we will be staying there after school. I need to make sure everything is perfect for the gala, no mistakes like when my brothers were in charge.""Yes, ma'am." She already knew how I liked things, so she left to arrange our weekend.
After hours of work, I got a call saying the conference room was ready. I made my way down with Katie trailing behind me. Walking into the conference room, I greeted the Olsens and gestured for them to take a seat.
" Well, I heard you would finally be joining us for the gala this year. I can't wait to show you all the hard work out students at the school have been working." I state.
" We heard you are the one to beat this year. Are we going to have the pleasure to watch you perform as well?" They asked. I knew they would ask. But I have to host, so no, I won't be performing.
" I apologize, but no, you won't. I have been so busy planning the gala that I haven't had a chance to put together a piece to perform. But we will have other students just as good, and a silent auction of the art work out seniors have done." I explain and try to change the subject.
"Well, I guess we will just have to make the best of it then. We can't wait to see what those students have succeeded. Any thoughts of where the money will go?"They asked curiously.
"Of course, the school needs some improvements that we plan on making during the winter break. We can't have the best students without the best equipment or learning environment." They nod in agreement. "And with your generosity, we will be able to make many kids' dreams come true."
They smiled as I explained more of where their money shall go. The Olsens loved the idea. The meeting came to an end. I shook there hand and promised to give them a tour once the construction is over. When I look at the clock, it was already almost 11, I was super late and still had some homework to get done.
I rushed out of the building and made my way home. The Olsens are the hardest to impress. It's a good thing they knew my family for as long as I could remember, and they loved me and my dancing.
As I walked into the house, I am surprised by my parents. "Where have you been, do you know what time it is?" I stare them in the eye and walk past them as if I didn't hear a single word they said.
"I was in a meeting with the Olsens, and it is late, but my school work is complete. If you didn't want this to happen, you should have put the boys in charge." I walked into my room and locked the door behind me. I have had enough of boys and my family. Hell, I have had enough of trying to impress everyone.

After my long hot shower, I realized how not ready for this gala we genuinely are. The rest of this week is going to be me getting the rest of these kids in shape. I will not be embarrassed by all of them, and allow my work to befoul by there performance. I worked too hard, and so did the rest of my family. Then there is James, who the hell is this kid anyway, what makes him so special to catch my uncle's eye, to make him worthy of being my partner.
With this question in my head, I open my computer to the applications of all the students wishing they could be in my school. Oh, if only they knew they would never get in. They are emotionally weak, and therefor need so much improvement, Our students have a reputation for leaving us, for dancing for big names such as Beyonce, Demi Lovato, and even Alvin Alie. We are no joke. I finally found it, James Karsavina. What the fuck, there is no way. My mouth drops at what I finally discovered. I thought he said his last name was Collins, but I have finally found all my answers.
With this information I decide to go to bed, tomorrow is going to be one exciting and busy day, it shows the time for everyone.
