Stars. The night sky. There was always this astronomical pull towards them inside her. She couldn't explain it. Star gazing was just something she always loved. She didn't know a lot about constellations, just the basics. But that never affected her love of the night portrait. While she loved this activity, when she thought back to how it all started. She trembled at the thought. She remembered almost too vividly.

It was cold, dark, damp, and crowded. Pain was all she felt. Her arms, legs, everything up to her head. She had a hard time sleeping, the pain in her head was too much to let her rest. But not enough to pass out. She opened her eyes and looked up. She saw the sky with a full moon and stars that covered the sky like glitter. She kept staring, her pain slowly slipping away as she started to get tired. She had already said her prayers, yet she had one more request for god. "Don't let me die here. If I must, then grant me these wishes. I want someone to love and have them love me in return, a family. I want to meet a star, my grandfather says their just like fairys. And let me become a star, a constellation of my own that others can gaze apon for years to come, leaving my mark on history." She whispered. With that she closed her eyes, letting the comforting dark take over. She felt warm for the first time in almost a year. Something in her heart.

She still feels that same warmth, every time she looks at the stars. She feels it get stronger when she looks right at the North Star. She's read books over stars and medical advice, she's even consulted with her guilds medic. They never knew what that warmth was. And the girl only longed to find out.

She felt a breeze pull her form her thoughts. The light of the full moon beaming on her waist length scarlet hair. She looked back the the North Star, the same warmth from over the years seeming stronger than before, she heard something this time. Bells, and chimes, like a sweet melody you'd only hear in a church. She hadn't noticed but her hair was slightly glowing.

Then she saw a small light. It looked like a shooting star, but I wasn't flying past her view. It was heading closer, then with a minor explosion. It crashed into the earth, landing in the woods about a mile from her home near the outskirts of town. She ran out of her home, eager to investigate. "Perhaps I'll finally meet a star!" She yelled to herself as she continued running. No matter how old she was, she would always hold on to her childhood dream. 'You don't stop having fun as you get old, you get old when you stop having fun.' A quote her grandfather had told her.

She heard the chimes and bells again, a pull in a specific direction. She ran faster than she ever had before in that direction, excitement turning to energy. Jumping over rocks and fallen tree trunks. She started to see a fuchsia glow passed the trees. Then she saw it. A large purple, pink and blue crystal.

The music was heard again, cautiously she walked to the side of the crystal. Gently, she touched it, a light outlined a door that slowly opened. She slowly walked inside to look around. It was dark, warm, soft lighting was all that lit her path. The supposed 'comet', looked like a spaceship on the inside. A pilot nor passenger had yet to be seen. While it was spacecraft, it was styled like a high tech home.
