It's 3:00 in the afternoon. We were all around the circular table in Meggy's apartment. Mike was hobbling around on crutches, and the rest of us were staring at the blueprints of the target building. Yes, I did call Lucas and tell him that we could have the information from Serina.
Serina: This is what's happening. The ink clones are coming from the abandoned building complex on the North side of the city. We'll need a few guys up North, a few down South, and maybe three for sniper support.
Me(chuckling): You said up North and down South.
Marie slapped me across the face with her umbrella.
Me: Alright. No more innuendo.
Serina: Take this seriously, Agent 4. Anyways, the target is only going to be vulnerable for about every 10 minutes of an hour cycle.
Me: So every hour is a 10 minute window to attack?
Serina: Yes. Now then, who's a good sniper?
Meggy: Orange is.
Me: I'm also good at the frontlines.
Serina: We need a few birds in the air, too.
Me: Who's a good pilot?
Marie: Our hackers could probably break into the interface of the onboard computer systems and control the choppers remotely.
Me: I sure hope you're right about that.
Serina: We'll have about 20 people who are joining us for Operation: Ink Storm.
Me: That's what we're calling this?
Serina: It fits. Don't blame me.
Me: I never said I would blame you for not fitting. Although-
Mike: Do you want to get beat with my crutches?
Me: No. Anyways, continue.
Serina: There's a reactor core in the middle of the building. We plant an explosive device on it, wait for everyone to get out of there, and remotely detonate it, we should be alright.
Dominic: Let's do this.
Me: Yeah. I'm ready.
Desti: Unfortunately, there won't be 20 of us. My other three members are out of the city.
Me: So, we now have 17.
Meggy: I don't think anyone else would be crazy enough to join us for a death wish.
Me: Soo... 11?
Serina: 11. Here's the plan: we get four of y'all up North, four of y'all down South, and-
Me: Mind if I interject?
Serina: What is it now, Orange?
Me: We'll need our two hackers on the birds, so that leaves only 9 left, minus the ones that operate the weapon's systems on the choppers, which leaves us with 7.
Marie: Not to mention the Captain can't do much.
Captain: I can use the weapons on the helicopter.
Me: Alright. So, now what's our plan?
Serina: Ummm... alright. I just remembered that I have a DX-17 Nighthawk in a hanger. It has hover technology and homing missiles.
Me: So, we'll get Serina in the Nighthawk, Callie and Marina up in the choppers, along with the Captain and Mike, so that leaves the rest of us on the front lines or covering fire as the ground forces move in on the building, plant the charges, and get the Hell out of dodge.
