Dean, Sloane and Cassie were the only ones at home when the snow started coming down hard. it piled up within an hour, enough to keep them from leaving and anyone from coming. it would've been fine if Sterling wasn't 39 weeks pregnant with her third child. Judd had taken the twins on a trip to the beach, Briggs was interrogating a potential abductor with Lia and Michael while Celine tried to find the little girls parents. Sterling was now sitting on the couch trying to read through the latest files when her face twisted in pain.

"You ok Veronica" Dean asked as Sloane and Cassie looked up from their designated papers. Sterling was about to answer when she doubled over in pain.

"Shit" she breathed out when the pain subsided. Sloane tilted her head and her eyes widened "there is a 86 percent chance your in labor" she looked at Dean and Cassie.

"and a 100% chance she's gonna have the baby here".

By the time they got Sterling off the couch and into her and Briggs bedroom the contractions had increased by almost double. Dean quickly called briggs.

"Agent Briggs"

"Hey Briggs, so funny story" Dean had no idea how to tell him his wife was about to give birth, but her screams from behind him gave Briggs a clue.

"When did it start, is she ok? is the baby ok?" he sounded stressed "she claims she was having pain since last night, she's doing ok and from what we can tell the baby is ok to" Cassie came back with a cold washcloth she used to gently wipe Sterlings face. 

"I'll keep you updated, she's gonna be ok Briggs" Dean said before hanging up. he turned to see Sterling clinging onto Cassie hand while tears streamed down her face, he never seen her so emotional and scared before. it almost broke him. 

"hey, hey your gonna be ok" Cassie gently said as a sob left Sterlings lips, she shook her hand and took in a shaky breath "I need Tanner, someone please get Tanner" she turned her head to look at Dean, who had positioned himself next to her "Please I need him, I can't do this alone" he squeezed her hand "your not alone Ronnie, we are here for you" she almost crushed his hand when the next contraction hit.

"Please I need him" she cried out. Sloane, who took on the role of midwife, motioned for her to push. Dean tried to keep from looking away, this was defiantly gonna scar him for the rest of his life. Cassie kept talking to Sterling as she pushed, she was positive and comforting. Finally a small wail echoed through the house and Sterling relaxed.

"It's a little girl" Sloane smiled as she placed the baby in Sterlings arms.

"Hi sweetheart, I'm your mommy" she gently cradled the little girl in a warm towel against her chest "she's gorgeous" Cassie smiled as the infant clung onto Sterlings finger. 

"Ronnie" Briggs ran into the room, he looked wild and terrified, but when he Saw Sterling smiling down at the little girl everything seemed to fade. He walked over and sat in Deans place admiring the little human who lay on his wife chest. His eyes filled with tears.

"Hunter" they both whispered at the same time. he gently kissed her on the lips. 

"how did you guys get here? the roads were surely closed" Dean asked as they reconvened in the kitchen.

"Oh they were" Lia said as she twirled keys between her fingers "but I have my ways, now where is the newest member of this family I almost killed us for?"
