"he was the only constant in their lives"
Dean sat in the FBI office as he watched everyone work around him, he couldn't help but see the amount of eyes looking at him every so often. He was Daniel Redding's son. No one would forget. He focused on Agent Briggs, who now swept through the room with a older man behind him.The mans face told Dean everything
he was lost, and broken, not physically but his heart is broken

"Come on son" Judd squeezed his shoulder "lets go home"
Lia, age 13, was not super happy about being forced off the streets into a black car by some guy who decided she was worth the trouble, and defiantly wasn't happy when she found out she was being sent to some program.
"Agent, excuse me but why can't I go back to my lavish life back in the alley? I would much appreciate that" she said as she stepped out of the car in front of a house, it was worn down a bit on the outside, but the gently glow inside told her more then one inhabited the house.
great, more people to deal with
she followed Briggs as he lead the way to the front door, a older looking man answered the door, his face softened as his eyes landed on her. She crossed her arms and looked past him at a blonde haired boy who sat on the stairs observing her.
"Care to lead me to my accommodations" she said flashing a smile, the older man chuckled before grabbing a bag from Briggs. It had her name on it.
"We will get you more clothes tomorrow, Dean will show you your room" he turned around and looked at the boy, who's name was apparently Dean.
"Yes Judd"
Judd? what a funny name
she followed Dean up the stairs to a small room. it had a bed with blue sheets on it, a few clothes hung in the closet. A desk with a I-pod was set up in the corner. Dean set her bag down and turned toward her.
"I'm fourteen, How old are you"
"thirteen, I am thirteen and my name is Lia" he nodded and turned towards the door "Judd makes pancakes most days, hope you like that" Lia nodded, a little confused on why he didn't ask anymore questions.
"I don't care about your past Lia, I only care about who you are from this point forward" Dean left, leaving Lia to her own devices. She saw the window and within minutes she was on the roof looking out at the neighborhood. She scooted toward the edge and tried to figure out what would happen if she jumped when she heard the window slide open more.
"Sweetheart, you can't make that jump" Judd stood inside, he wasn't lying "come on" he held out his hand for her to grab. for some reason she took it.
"I can't make you value yourself" he said once she got inside "but I am here, I will never leave you, I promise. Now go to bed we have a day of shopping" As Lia fell asleep all she could hear was the truth ringing through her head.
I will never leave you
