Ok, this is inspired by my friend TheBestWall who has one of the most amazing Naturals fanfics I have read. Felicity and the story line are hers. Go give it a read it's absolutely incredible.

Maybe you don't like talking too much about yourself
But you shoulda told me that you were thinking' 'about someone else

Eleven year old Felicity Briggs stood frozen in the hallway as Veronica and Tanner fought, she heard clanging of metal and suddenly her mom stormed out of the room, her dad followed in suit, looking absolutely devastated. Felicity moved into the shadows and looked at what he was holding. Her mom's ring was clenched in between his fingers.

I know you, you're like this
When shit don't go your way you needed me to fix it

Felicity could fear the anger filling up in her stomach as her mom tried yet another mind technique on her, again with the same results. She didn't remember who it was, she couldn't put a face to the man who killed Scarlett.

And like me, I did
But I ran out of every reason

She packed her suitcase as tears threaten to spill from the young girl's eyes, she was running away from how broken everything had become. She couldn't stand staying in the house that had once been so filled with love, which was now just cold and empty.

Swear for a while I would stare at my phone just to see your name
But now that it's there, I don't really know what to say

Felicity blocked her parents' numbers from her phone, she got sick and tired of feeling so guilty whenever her mom's contact would show up. Her mom was a reminder of everything Felicity had done wrong.

Took a while, was in denial when I first heard
That you moved on quicker than I could've ever, you know that hurt

The girl stared at her parents as they looked back at her, years had passed since the last time she saw them. Now they were peacefully standing in a room together acting like nothing happened? Her heart hurt at how they seemed to have healed without her in their lives.

Now suddenly you're asking for it back
Could you tell me, where'd you get the nerve?
Yeah, you could say you miss all that we had
But I don't really care how bad it hurts
When you broke me first

Felicity glared at her mom. She could still hear the words of her last interrogation in her mind. And what she just said gave her all the evidence she needed to realize her mom still saw her as a child, a forgetful kid who couldn't do anything right.

Yeah, you could say you miss all that we had
But I don't really care how bad it hurts

She stormed out of the cafeteria, everything was spinning like it did the night Scarlett died. She couldn't take it, any of it. Her mom watched as the kid ran, feeling the same guilt she did when Felicity had stopped coming home. But for Felicity, she didn't know if she could ever forgive her mom.
