Chapter 11

It's over. It's all over. I can't believe it. 

I feel a hand on my shoulder and look to see Lilly. Before I know it Chase and Alex pat my back with smiles.

"We did it." Alex says. I can't help but smile at him. He's right. We did do it.

"We got revenge, avenged those we lost and saved everyone from being a victim of them." Chase smiles. The wolf that killed Damon comes next to me and rubs a little against my side as it looks at me.

"Thank you. For helping." I tell whoever they are. The wolf runs into the warehouse and a minute later a girl comes out wearing shorts and a t-shirt. She smiles at us and comes over.

"I'm Spenser. Thank you for letting me kill that bastard. He killed my best friend." She holds out her hand to each of us and we shake it as we introduce ourselves 

"You guys can go home!" Mr. Marksen calls to us. "We can take care of the mess!" We all nod but Spenser.

"Spenser, you go with them!" A man in jeans and a tank top says. It looks like all the wolves changed to human form. They all are wearing jeans and tank tops or shorts and t-shirts. Spenser nods and we all walk towards the cars.

"So, are you guys okay?" Spenser asks as we walk. 

"Yeah." We all say at the same time causing Spenser to laugh lightly at us.

"What?" Alex asks.

"You guys are best friends aren't you?" She asks. 

"Yeah, Ace is part of this group too but she's at the house with Ash's mom." Alex says.

"Oh shit!" I say as I realize my mom is barely alive.

"What?" They all say at once.

"My mom." I say. "She could be-" I'm cut off by Lilly.

"Ash. She's fine. She is just hurt. Mom is taking care of her. You have nothing to worry about." She tells me. I still have a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. I nod though. Not wanting to be paranoid. "We'll be back with her in 20 minutes at most." I nod and we all get in the Wrangler. It takes around 15 minutes to get back to the house and I get out before the car is fully stopped. I quickly go inside followed by the others. Ace is sitting on the couch in the living room with Amanda. They turn to me.

"She's in there." Amanda says and points to the infirmary. I go through the door and see my mom lying in one of the beds. She is conscious but barely. Her face is bruised and she has cuts on her chin, forehead and lips. She looks to be tired. Barely keeping her eyes open. I walk over to her and sit in a chair by the bed. I lightly take her hand in mine. 

"Hey." She says weakly barely able to smile at me.

"Hey." I smile at her. "We got him. It's over, mom. Spenser killed Damon and I killed Markas."

"Are you okay?" She asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I heal fast now." I keep my smile. "Lilly changed me so I could get you back." Moms smile fades to a look of pain. "Are you okay?" I ask.

"I don't have long." She says.

"No. You're gonna make it, mom." I tell her.

"No matter what happens you stay safe." Mom says. Tears start to form in my eyes. "Just know that your father and I always have and always will, love you." 

"Mom please. Stay with me." The tears start falling down my face. "I need you. I can't lose you. Please." I beg. Her eyes close. "You can't leave me, mom!" My voice breaks as I raise it a little. "I can't lose you, too. Mom." I go to my knees next to the bed with her hand in mine as she lays silently. "No!!" I yell and I stand. "No!! Mom, please!!" I feel someone pull on my arm. I see Lilly next to me with concern in her eyes. "She can't be gone." I say quietly and back up to the wall. I slide down the wall bringing my knees to my chest. I don't care who sees me like this. My parents are gone.
