- So, the losers don't get invited to parties a lot, because, well, they're losers. But, then one day Greta Bowie decides she wants to show off and invites everyone in their year.

- Richie, Ben, Bill and Bev have fake IDs and sometimes drive a few towns over to hit the clubs, but the rest has never gone out before.

- Eddie is really excited about going to the party, but he is also a little wary because it's Greta Bowie and that girl fooled him once before.

- When they get there, it seems that everyone between 15 and 20 in Derry turned out, so there is a slim chance that Greta will even notice they're there.

- Richie gets beer for all of them and he laughs at seeing Eddie wince.

- Eddie tries his best to keep up with Richie, but it is his first time drinking and Richie has learned to handle himself.

- Eddie is more than a little buzzed when Richie and Bev decide it's time for a smoke break.

- When Richie gets back, Eddie is dancing on the couch, shaking his hips to Don't Cha. When Richie sees this, he squeezes his cup so hard, he spills beer all over his jeans.

- Eddie spots Richie and bounds over to him. He drags Richie onto the dancefloor and starts dancing with him. Eddie stumbles a little and Richie wraps his arms around him to steady him.

- "You smell nice." Eddie mumbles into Richie's shirt.

- "You think so?"

- Suddenly, Eddie looks up at Richie with big eyes and Richie thinks he's going to cry.

- "I wish I could tell you I love you."

- "What?"

- "I wish I could tell you that I love you, but I'm too scared! I'm probably never going to tell you and then you're going to date a pretty girl and forget all about me."

- Richie blinks a few times, trying to process it all, before leaning in and pressing a kiss near Eddie's ear.

- "Tell me when your sober, Sexy Spaghetti."

- Richie ends up taking Eddie home not long after that and lets him sleep it off in his bed. When Eddie wakes up, he has the worst headache he ever had.

- "Did I say anything embarrassing last night?"

- "Oh, not really," Richie says, looking smug over his cup of coffee. "You just forgot we're dating."
