"hey payton!" Chase says walking towards us. payton high fives chase while i hold his other hand in mine. i notice a girl standing next to chase, her hands wrapped around her arms. Her eyes shift to me, just glaring.
"what's up y/n!" Chase says. i let go of Payton and give chase a hug, embracing his skinny frame.
"how have you two been?" Chase ask. i take payton's hand in mine again as ales both smile happily.
"we have been good!" I respond. payton leans over and kisses my cheek, making me turn a slight shade of pink.
"this is Charli," Chase says. She smiles at Payton but glares at me. i try to avoid eye contact with her. what is her problem. Chase and Payton don't seem to notice though.
"are you two dating?" Payton asks, gesturing towards Charli holding his hand. Chase nods in response.
"yeah, but we are trying to keep it on the low," He says. Me and Payton both nod, understanding.
