- Kim Taehyung -
We wade through the water after abandoning the boat as far from shore as possible, without having to swim. We all stay low, keeping as much of ourselves underwater as possible, even as it lowers to our stomachs, and then to our hips, while we make our way closer to the shore. The seaport was quiet since it was so late at night, but there was still some activity on the lit-up docks. So, we had to be as stealthy as possible, to avoid being heard or seen. Teenagers being out so late would be extremely noticeable, especially with Jeongguk and Jimin looking younger.
It doesn't take too much longer to get ashore, and we manage to do so without being noticed. We climb under a small ledge jutting out, just out of view of the port, and begin going through our mostly dry bags, and talking about our next steps.
"Alright. First things first, we need to find a place where we can get new clothes and a good map, so we can figure out the best way to get back to Seoul." Namjoon states, pulling his mask over his face. The rest of us work on getting our masks on while Jeongguk peeks out around the ledge, looking for another place to move to and stay out of sight. Once we all have our masks on – deciding against sunglasses, since it's nighttime and that would be significantly more suspicious – Jeongguk leads us slowly across the side of the port, using buildings and various rocks and hills to shield us from anyone who might notice us.
It takes almost a half-hour, but we eventually make it out of the port. From there, we head to a more populated area, and although most of the people are at home, there's a nice-looking clothing store that we could use to our advantage. After a quick examination of their puny security system, we break inside and split up to grab things. Jimin, Jin and Namjoon to get clothes, Hoseok and Jeongguk to find some colored contacts and fake glasses, and Yoongi and I to grab hair dye.
It's a rushed process, and we're all as quiet and aware as possible, to try and avoid tripping anything we didn't see. Eventually, once we've found just about everything that we could possibly use to mask our identities, we meet back up, and head to the back where the restrooms and changing rooms are. We then proceed to take turns using them to do our little makeovers - or, what Seokjin keeps referring to as 'getting bedazzled'. It's a bit tedious, but the others manage to get done in record time, and Jimin and I – who get to go last – still have a bit of time before the store opens to get things done.
I step into the restrooms, taking a sink a few feet away from Jimin. I reach into the bag I brought in with me, and quickly begin taking stuff out. I first pull out some bleach, going right at my hair, covering it in the stuff but being sure not to burn my eyes out. My hair is already bleached from the last time I dyed it, but it's still a recognizable faded blue color, and I need to get rid of it, even if it means killing my hair.
It takes almost no time to bleach out the steel-blue color, and although my roots are a darker blonde than the rest of my hair, I have no time to waste. I give my hair a good rinse and wash off my hands, before going through the colored contacts. I pick out a light green-brown color, hiding my naturally dark brown eyes, and then put on a pair of glasses.
After a little blush contouring and some very, very light lipstick, I move on to clothes. I quickly change out of my torn-up T-shirt and black jeans that I've been wearing for two days, give myself a quick washing with a hand towel, and throw on some new clothes; a long black leather jacket, bright red t-shirt, and some white skinny jeans. I prefer baggy shirts and ripped leather pants, but I know that the more it differs from my usual style, the better.
I finish changing up and step out of my stall. Jimin just got out as well: His hair now a light brown color. He's wearing a plaid-type shirt and some jeans, and some pretty fabulous sunglasses. An odd mix, but he pulls it off. We put the unused stuff back into bags and step out. The store is only about an hour away from opening, which means employees might already be in the building. So we go back into ninja mode and get out without being noticed.
