"Soff wake up! Time to go to school! " I woke up to the sound of Bella banging on my door, I sighed and buried myself deeper into the sheets.
"I don't wanna!" I yelled back when she kept banging on the door, then it opened and I felt something hit me.
"Hey!" I complained when she tore the sheets off me and opened the curtains, the last didn't have much that effect because there was no sunlight to hit on my face.
" I'm up! " I surrounded when I felt her go for my ankles.
"Get ready, I'll start breakfast" Bella told me while I sat on my bed and looked out the window, it was raining, I still have to get used to that.
After a quick shower and getting dress, I headed down stairs where Charlie was drinking coffee off his traveling mug and Bella was serving breakfast on two plates, it looked like Charlie was not having breakfast with us.
"Scrambled eggs and OJ, yummy" I said while starting digging my food.
"I have to go girls, have a nice day at school, everything is supposed to be sorted out but if not give me a call" Charlie said while palming my back, I nodded still stuffing my mouth with the eggs.
"I'll do the dishes" I told Bella when I saw her take the dishes to the sink, she nodded and added the pan.
Right after I was done with the dishes I heard Bella's footsteps down the stairs and then she appeared in the kitchen door with her backpack on her shoulder and mine on her other hand after that we headed to the truck.
"Did you remember to bring your inhaler?" she asked me when she ignited the engine, I nodded and took it out of the front bag to show it to her and then put it back in its place. It didn't take long to get to Fork's High School, however it was nothing like our old school in Phoenix. I mean it didn't even have metal-detectors, what kind of school doesn't have metal detector? I'll tell you which ones, the Small ones.
Bella parked the red monster and then killed the engine, everybody was looking at us. I closed my eyes and took a big breath right before opening the door on my side and getting off the truck, Bella followed my lead and got out too.
"Nice ride!" I heard this guy mocking us, I lowered my head and walked right next to Bella.
"Thanks!" Bella replied sarcastically and we walked to the office to get our schedules.
When we got to the office and then the woman with short red-hair and glasses stood up from behind the desk.
"What can I help you with girls? My name is Mrs. Cope" she introduced herself while standing up from her chair behind the front desk.
"We are here to pick up our schedules" Bella told her while I leaned on the front desk.
"Of course, you are Charlie's kids, Isabella and Soffia, right?" she said while looking thru a pile of papers, Bella and I both made a face.
"Bella"
"Soff" we both corrected her at the same, she ignored us as she handed us over our schedules and other paper.
"Here are your schedules and the other is an attending slip, the last you need to have it signed by all your teachers" she explained to us while we looked over our classes I frowned when I saw the second one. PE, I didn't say anything though.
"Thank you" Bella said while we go out the office.
"What classes are you taking? " Bella asked me as she pulled me closer to take a peek at my time table.
"I'm taking 2 Honors and 4 APs" I answered and took her schedule from her hands and gave her mine.
"We just have Honors English together" I said a bit disappointed, Bella was a bit awkward when meeting new people but somehow she always manages to make from 5 to 6 friends, or at least people she hangs out with. Me on the other hand, I have a harder time making friends. In my defense it is more like people don't want to hang out with the nerdy kid that skipped two years.
"We'll sit together at lunch" she promised me and I gave her an awkward smile, Bella was a good sister and always tried to include me with her friends and some were nice enough to play along but I clearly understood that they only put up with me because of her.
"Thanks, I better get to my Calculus class" I told her and took back my schedule from her hands and gave back hers.
I started walking into the hallway that the school map on the backside of my schedule and trying to look for the building 4 and tried to ignore the looks of all the people staring at me, soon enough I found the door of the classroom I was looking for. I entered and walked straight to the teacher on her desk.
"You must be Soffia Swan" she said and took the slip from my hands and then signed it.
"Introduce yourself to the class" she told me not sparing me a second look and kept organizing the papers on her desk. I sighed. Great, a public introduction.
"Hi, my name is Soff Swan and I just moved here with my sister-"I kept it short and simple.
"How old are you? 5? " a dark skinned guy joked and the whole classed laughed and I grimaced, the teacher quickly shooed me to my seat.
"I'm fifteen" I cleared up and then turned to the teacher, practically begging her with my eyes to let me seat.
"Take a seat next to Mr. Cullen" she instructed me while pointing to a bulky dark-haired guy, he reminded me to a rugby player and I already felt a bit intimidated.
I made my way to him, he didn't pay much attention to me and looked extremely interested on the roof. However, I had been paying too much attention to this Cullen guy that I didn't notice when someone tripped me with their foot and I fell face first into the floor and the whole class erupted on laughter, I hissed as I turned to look who was responsible.
It was a blonde girl, she looked at me clearly thinking what she did was hilarious.
"You really should look where you are going" the bimbo told me when I stood up, I looked at her with fury and turned to the chair I was supposed to occupy.
The teacher started the class and I started to watch everything she was doing without getting my things out, some of the stuff she was solving on the board I had already seen on Phoenix and the other part was quite easy because I already had the basics.
"Do you need the notes I from the previous classes? " the bulky guy next to me asked me while sliding his notebook to the middle of the desk for me to take, I shook my head no.
"Thank you but I already saw this so no need to do some catch up, I'm Soff by the way" I thanked him with a shy smile, he nodded somewhat impressed and then gave me this huge dimpled smile.
"Nice to meet you" he took his notebook back "I'm Emmett Cullen"
"Ms. Swan as you seem to think there's no need to pay attention or even write notes please tell me the solution of this definite integral" the teacher called on me and I blushed profoundly and the classroom snickered. I stared at the board but didn't move.
"Ms. Swan do I have to repeat myself?" the teacher walked from the front to the hallway between the desks and put her hand on her hips.
"3456" I mumbled
"What?" she asked dropping her hands from her hips and looked at me in disbelief.
"3456" I answered her loudly this time, she gave me a doubtful look and turned to the book where she got the integral from. After making a double check and writing the result I told her next to the integral without any further discussion, the rest of the class started mumbling and whispering about how I did it.
"Nerd" the guy behind me snorted loudly enough that I could hear it and the two girls seating next to me covered their mouths to hide their laughter, I lowered my head and stared at my desk.
Why in the name of all that's sane did I do that? Don't I ever learn? This is just how it started last time and here I have a fresh new start and I ruined it by making my same mistakes. This two years I have left in High School are gonna be really long.
