Chapter 5

I won't let them control me anymore.

The next morning, Kaminari isn't in bed with Shinso anymore. Shinso gets up and starts searching around the area for Kaminari, but he can't find him. As he walks up to the door, he notices a piece of paper sitting on the table and grabs it to look into what it says. As Shinso picks up the note, a feeling of despair crosses over him.

"Hey Shin, I'm sorry, but I can't stay with you anymore. It's too dangerous for the both of us and I won't risk your career for me. I hope you find a good lover in the future, but for now I will stay away from you so you can focus fully on your career."

Shinso's tears start building in his eyes and he runs out the door. He decides the only option he has left is to go back to Izuku and ask for his help. As he arrives at his door, he starts knocking rapidly. Izuku groans loudly as he sleepily opens the door, nearly getting hit by Shinso's fist as he was continuing to knock.

"What?" Izuku asks.

"Kaminari, he's freaking out and left again!" Shinso yells out sadly.

"You want me to talk to him again?" Izuku asks.

"Please?" Shinso begs.

"Fine." Izuku closes the door and comes out a few minutes later in a new change of clothes and starts walking to Kaminari's dorm.

Izuku knocks on the door and heads inside.

A knock sounds on the door and he sluggishly gets out of bed. He heads over to the door and opens it to see Izuku standing there with a smile.

"Can I come in?" Izuku asks,

"Uhh.. Sure?" Kaminari replies.

Izuku walks in and sits on Kaminari's bed, waiting for him to close the door and walk back over.

"Listen, they just want you to break up with Shinso, if you give them what they want then they win." Izuku says.

Kaminari's face changes to one of annoyance, "Shinso sent you. I should have known. Get out."

Izuku refuses to move and looks at Kaminari with renewed determination.

"Don't give them what they want, it will just fuel their fire." Izuku says.

After a few more minutes of back and forth, Izuku convinces him to stay with Shinso and to simply ignore anything else they try to do. Izuku leaves back towards his dorm and Kaminari heads to Shinso's. He knocks on the door and Shinso opens it in seconds, his look of distress changing into one of relief in seconds.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't give them what they want. I won't let them control me anymore." Kaminari says.

"That's good, now get in here." Shinso says as he pulls Kaminari into the room.

"I promise to do my best to always protect you. To keep you safe from harm and try to make you happy every moment." Shinso says.

Kaminari blushes and nods his head before heading to lay down in the bed.

"How much sleep did you get last night?" Kaminari asks.

"A few hours, why?" Shinso replies.

"I had to wait for you to fall asleep, so I had an idea." Kaminari says.

Shinso nods and crawls into bed with him, the warmth enveloping them both as they sigh in contentment.

That evening, Shinso wakes up first and wakes Kaminari too. As they get ready, they decide to go get dinner downstairs in the kitchen. As they walk down the stairs, Shinso is checking around corners and being sure that nobody is within sight that could be after Kaminari. Heading into the kitchen, Shinso heats up some leftovers and they sit down on the couch to eat.

Finishing their food, Shinso turns on a movie and they cuddle while they watch it. About halfway in, the Tv turns off and Bakugo appears behind them.

"Ah, here they are. The little gay boys..." Bakugo says as he grabs Kaminari and pulls him over the back of the couch.

Shinso gets out his phone and texts izuku for help as he jumps over the back and starts trying to defend Kaminari from them, but their steadily taking him towards the door.

"Where are you taking him?" Shinso asks.

"T-" Kirishima falls for his quirk and goes silent.

"Stop Bakugo" Shinso orders.

Kirishima turns and tries to block Bakugo, but he simply throws an explosion at his face and he breaks out of it from the pain. Within a few seconds, Kirishima and Bakugo are in front of Shinso, Kirishima grabbing his arms and Bakugo throwing explosions at his chest, one after the other. Shinso is left bleeding and barely conscious on the floor while Bakugo and Kirishima continue to drag Kaminari out the door. As they disappear from view, Izuku shows up and stops to help Shinso.

"Where's Kaminari?" Izuku asks.

"They took him!" Shinso yells.

Izuku helps him to Recovery Girls office and reports the situation to the pros. They start a search team and start trying to find them, but there is no luck by the next morning.
