Happy // Chapter 9

We drove out of Atlanta, trying to find a new home. After 30 Minutes our tank was empty and the car stopped. "Well that was it, let's go outside and check the area here, maybe we'll find something" Rick said. I guess we where in a little village. Everything was so empty. A few walkers came across us but that was the small problem. We headed through the town.. "I'm going to clear up the area. That house there, you gotta check it Rick. There are walls around it MAYBE that could be our new home. It's big enough for all of us." Rick nooded and took everyone with them, I went with Daryl to clear up the area. There wasn't any walkers out there, our luck. "Looks like luck is on or side. Hopefully for permanent." .. He came up to me and hugged me. "I love you so much, Daryl. Maybe this could be our home forever." He just nooded and gave me a kiss. "Hey stop tickling me, you tease." He smirked and said,, "Yea sure, who is the biggest tease here, ,?" We both laughed and slowly made our way back to the Group and the big house... I don't even know in which village we landed here but it was so beautiful. I want to stay here. "So, everything clear?" .. "YEP just one Walker, but that ain't a problem. It seems like this village here wasn't really attacked. I'll check all other houses with Michonne, Rick and the others are inside. Preparing our home. The walls around it here are high and walkers can't get through them, and we can close 'em. We should definitely stay here." Carol was right, we should stay here. It's safer than everything before. Daryl went with Carol and Michonne to check the few houses here. We even had a supermarket. I made my way inside to Rick and the others. I headed to Maggie and rested my head on her shoulder. "I'm so glad I'm out at that horrible Hospital. At first I thought they want to help me and let me go, but they kept me there and I couldn't go out. Thank you for everything. I love you sis." .. "Well I'm defiantly glad you are here. forget them, you're with us again. With your family. Sooo.. How are things with Daryl, everything alright?" "Everything alright. He's perfect and I'm so happy that I got him back." Maggie smiled and I enjoyed being with my sis again.. "And how are things with you and Glenn?" A bright smile came up on her face "Perfect. He makes me the happiest I've ever been. I couldn't imagine living without him." I love how happy she is. I've never seen her in love like this before. Daryl, Carol and Michonne came back inside.. "The area is clear, the houses also. Luck is on our side." I smiled. "What was that here, a hotel?" Daryl asked Rick. "Guess. Seems like it" He nooded and came to us,, "let's find a room for us, here are enough," he smiled. I headed upstairs with him and we searched for a room. Everything was amazing here, we headed into a room and rested awhile on the bed. "I think this could be our permanent home. Don't you think?" Daryl asked me.. I love when he says our home. "Yes it could. I want that to be our permanent home. It's beautiful here and so quiet." He nooded and came up on me. "I want you." .. we kissed us, passionate as ever. We slowly revealed our clothes.. It was the best night ever. We got interrupted by a knock on the door. "Oh sorry, I didn't wanted to interrupt you guys.." Carol went all red "it's okay, what's up Car,?" Daryl asked her. He laughed and Carol still was ashamed.. I couldn't help but also laugh. "Dinner?" "Yeah we gonna come in a few thanks !" She went out and Daryl looked at me still laughing. "Damn.. God thanks she didn't interrupt while we were totally in." Hilarious, but I love him. "I love you dumbass." .. "And I love you baby. Silly." He gave me a kiss and we put on our clothes and went back to Dinner. After dinner I looked through the Hotelrooms.. And suddenly I heard something moving in the Closet. I slowly took my knife from my Jeans-Pocket and made my way ahead to the Closet.. I slowly opened it and I got a shock. There was a kid inside. Maybe 4. All alone. I put my knife back. "What are you doing here, all alone? Come out I won't do anything. I thought you were.." I didn't wanted to say Walker, I don't know if she was clear what's happening outside."One of those things?? No.." She had blonde hair, long blonde hair. She was small.. She seemed scared. I wonder what happend to here. "So what's your name lovely? I'm Beth." "I'm Crystal. My parents leaved me here.. My entire family got.... k-killed by those things. I'm scared. They said I should stay here, because it's safe her. One of those things came here when I wanted to look outside if everything was quiet again, I was in the closet since them. Is it gone??" "Yes.. W-we did it. It's gone, come downstairs with me. I'm with my Group here, it's like my family. We made dinner. I bet you are hungry.." She nooded and took my Hand and we went upstairs. I wonder how she survived for so long in a closet. Just in a closet. "Umm.. Guys. I got someone with me. Her name is crystal. Her parents were the owners of that Hotel. And they all got.. You know. She's the only survivor and her parents told her to stay inside here since it's safe.. It was months ago and she was just in the closet the entire time. That Walker we removed here today inside, wanted to attack her but she made her way into the closet and survived. Can she stay with us,?" Crystal clearly was scared, she stand there in hope to stay with us and squeezed my hand. Rick smiled "Sure," she smiled. Daryl made his way to us and squeezed her Hand.."don't be scared darling, you're with us now and nothin will happen to you okay? You're safe and now c'mon let's get dinner. By the way, my name is Daryl." Crystal had a huge relieved smile on her face, she was so adorable. I can tell Daryl also liked her. Daryl gave me a kiss and they both made their way to the Table to get her Dinner. I sat with them. "So you didn't ate anything right? Like the last time?" "Not really... I had some food in the closet but well it didn't lasted long. I'm glad I have normal food again.. Yummy." I couldn't help but smile at her cuteness, I noticed Daryl did too. "So Beth is your wife?" Daryl smiled.."my girlfriend, yes." We looked at each other and smiled. "You both should get a kid seriously. Perfect." Maggie suddenly said.. I laughed and stopped when I realized it's been 5 days and I still haven't got my period. Shit..... A BABY? IN THAT APOCALYPSE?? I'd end up like Lori... I decided to search for a pregnancy test.. I need to ask Maggie if she comes with me tomorrow, I decided to take her to side.. "Um.. S-so is there any way I could get to a pharmacy here?" She clearly was confused.."Here's one in the street, what happend?" "I guess... I-i'm pregnant.. I need a test.. I'm over my period since 5 days.. Please don't tell Daryl or anyone until I'm 100% sure." "Damn.." She hugged me,,,"I help you babe, don't worry I won't ..." I smiled in relieve and went to Crystal and Daryl.."You ready? It's late you gotta sleep babygirl,, we need to find a room for you." Crystal became scared again, hm."No no no I don't want to sleep alone... I'm scared can I sleep with in your room?" I smiled and nooded.. "C'mon then. Daryl took Crystals hand and we made our way back to our room.. We all were tired so we fall asleep fast and Crystal fall asleep in Daryls arms. So sweet... Maybe it ain't a bad idea, a own baby.
