Two days after crying about her love, the ball had arrived. No more crying, she was to marry one man and one man only. Gavin. No more Collin.

He had taken her arm, ready to walk down the polished marble together. They had both worn red. Her the fine dress, his over coat shinning. "Are you ready my Princess?" He whisper against her ear.

She shivered against his breath. He called me his Princess! She squeled to herself. Happy this might end up well. Not be like the other marrigies.

"Yes, are you worried?" She asked turning to him. Looking into his eyes. She melted a little. Although not like she did when she saw Collin.

"Not when I'm here, next to the Princess. I know it can't go wrong." He smiled at her, so badly wanting to kiss her. Although before the thought could be turned over the trupmets blared. Ringing through the room and getting everyones attention.

"I now present to you Prince Gavin and Princess Luna of Alkiery!" A royal gaurd spoke. The oak door opened and the both walked through the door. Listing to the people shout and clap for them.

Lunas eyes scanned the ballroom as she walked down the marble steps. Her eyes spotted the one person she knew. Collin. He came? He Came! She thought as she stared at him.

He was wearing his fathers old overcoat and pants. She smiled at him. He gave her a thumbs up and mouthed, 'beware of him Luna.' She nodded.

By the time they had reached the glistening floor the songs had started. The room echoed with the laughter of people as they chatted. The click of shoes hitting the floor danced around the wide space.

The both smiled. "Shall we dance?" Gavin asked as they passed a large group. They bowed the slightest as they walked.

"That'd be lovely." She replied and he took her hand. Guiding her. Her dress spun wildly with color as she danced. Moving with her body as she moved left and right with the music. As she was spun by Gavin.

The song ended and they had parted. Heading off to speak with the guests. Collin was first to spot to Luna, he ran to her.

He hugged her from behind. She squealed and turned to him. He lifted her off of the ground and spun her around.

"Luna, you look. . ." No words could describe what he thought of her.

"Not like village Luna?" She said. He nodded.

A new song suddenly started up. "May have this dance my lady?" Collins asked bowing down and taking her hand.

"You may." A smile surpressed their faces. They dance the minute.

Luna was asked to dance with nearly every man there. From little eight year old boys told by there mothers to dance with her, to many old men. She accepted. Trying to be the Princess they all wished her to be.

Gavin and Collin both watched in awe. As she was lovely that night. They watched her dress move with her, as she walked arcoss the floor. They watched when a smile played upon her lips.

At one point they had ran into eachother. Gavin tried to walk away, but Collin stopped him.

"Do you love her?" He asked the blode headed boy. Gavin stared at him in wonder. Asking himself why he'd ask such a thing.

"What?" He asked the strange man.

"Do you love her?" He asked again, voice harsher.

Gavin smiled as he turned to look over at her. "Yes, I believe so. The Council chose the right match. This should turn out well." He said and looked back at the boy in front of him. Smile still on his lips.

Collin gulped. "Take care of her. Take care of her for me please. I don't want her hurt. Just please. I love her to much to see her in pain." He said then ran off.

Luna saw him run as she danced with a man much older then her. Her heart sank a bit. She couldn't take it. Her love left to soon. She asked the man to exuse her and ran through the hall of people.

Many asked her what was wrong as tears slipped from her eyes again. She didn't reply she just ran. She ran to the one place she wished to be in.

Her room. Were Collin could not make a thread into her new life.
