Gavin had taken Collin into Hintion a few days later. They were to tell the people the Councils lie.

Collin stood on the wooden box given to them, their voices rang out through the crowd. Many did not believe the words that spilled upon their lips. They walked on. Not paying any attention.

The boys looked like them. Plain, ragged clothes. Messy unkempt hair. Skin lightly covered with dirt. That was not enough.

Both boys had realized this with time and rethought.

"People of Alkeiry! Have you heard of the war!" Collin yelled out. Some people stopped and stared. A village boy was speaking of war. One close to the Princess. They fell silent and nodded.

"Well it's true! War is coming for us! It will burn us to the ground!" Some people gasped at the thought. Mothers grabbed hold of their children. "We can stop it." Some people had hope on their eyes.

"How?!" A man asked. Others murmured about the war. Glancing at the now strange boy speaking.

"We have magic. The Council does not." Collin spoke. Children tore from parents and ran up to him. Staring at the boy they all knew. The boy who knew of magic.

"How do you know! What do you know about the Council!?" A women nearly screamed at him.

"I've spoken to them, I figured out their ways. They have lied to you! Kings and Queens do not rule you. They do! Will you stand for that?!" Gavin cast a worried look at Collin who shook it off. The people roared a no. Screaming.

"What do we do Collin?" A little boy in front of him spoke. Eyes full of a child's curiosity. Women gave him a look of wonder, full terror, hope, and loss. Men looked at him with eyes full of anger and hatred for the Council.

He smiled. Just has he had planned. They'd listen. For they knew him.

"Join Luna and her fight. Use magic. Learn its ways, its uses, its power. Use it against the Council!" He screamed. Chanting what we he was taught. "Magic is our savior!"

Others chanted and Gavin looked in awe at the crowd. They believed Collin. They were joining a sixteen year olds army. Forming it.

The words grew louder and louder. Fists pounded in the air. Hollers and whistles broke tension. Laughs and cheers broke lies. These were the real people of Alkiery. Brave and strong.

Chants continued even as Guards came and pulled people away. Tearing them away from the truth. Handing them back to the Council.

Yet for the first time since the beginning people fought back. Using what magic they knew to harm them. A riot started. Chants continued. Guards fell to the ground. Villagers took the upper hand.

Magic was on their side. Not the Councils.

From her bedroom window Luna watched. Watched as Guards were killed. As the people finally fought. Her plan had worked. She was in control.

"Magic is our savior." She whispered to herself. "We shall murder you with wisdom and truth. Not your lies."

The Council had the Royal Guard. Luna had the village.
