Word of war was spread quickly. Spreading like a wild fire.

Most thought it was just another outfall, one before marriage. Others saw this as a new epidemic. Preparing for the war.

Luna and Gavin discussed the sour topic amongst themselves. They needed a plan.

"We could kill all the Council." Gavin suggested.

"That will cause more distress." Luna replied as she paced back and fourth in the library. Thinking what she should do. She started this. She was to end it.

"Well, I have no idea." Gavin slouched back in the chair he sat in. Letting the plush engulf him whole.

Luna shot him a glare. He let out a low chuckle.

"It is not funny Gavin! This is real. Alkiery is going to war. All because of me." The last part was whispered, although he still heard it.

He got out of chair and walked over to her. Wrapping his arms around her small waist. Hugging her. "Luna, don't you dare say you did this. This will all work out. It's for the better." He whispered against her ear.

"I don't understand Gavin. Why was I picked for this?! I brought us war!" She cried out, not running from his grip. It brought a sense of comfort to her.

"I ask myself that everyday. We were picked because the damn Council thought we were a good match." He laughed this time.

"For awhile it was." For the first time in a few weeks she smiled brightly.

"It still is. Now. If you are to lead this war, what do you think we need to do?" He let her go and looked at her. Staring into her eyes. Waiting for her reply.

"Well most people in the kingdom know. We need a rally. One to tell them the truth of the Council. Then we get them on our side."

"What's the truth?" Gavin asked her.

She thought.

The truth. The truth was that the Council was lying to them. Making the people think the King and Queen ruled over them. When really it was them. Just telling the King and Queen what to do. Forcing it upon the people.

They made incompatible matches for a reason. So that only they can control the people. So only they can make the choices.

"They lie. Simple as that."
