A/N: Kind of a short chapter, but I promise to update again soon. Vote, comment, and enjoy :)

"Anna, wake up," Emma screamed while jumping on my bed. I looked at my alarm clock to see it was only eight in the morning. "Since when do you wake up before noon?" I groaned into my pillow. "Come on it is the last day of summer and I am not letting you sleep in. Get dressed and let's go."

I yawned as I walked out of my house only to see Emma's parents green van parked in my driveway.

"Get in the back seat," Emma called out the window. "You do know it sounds like you are going to kidnap me right?" "Just get in the backseat, Anna."

I got in the backseat and buckled my seatbelt, looking around at the hideous interior of the van. I waited for Emma to back out of the driveway, but after five minutes of waiting I had to ask, "Why aren't we moving?"

"Because we are waiting on some people." Just then I saw Dan walking up to the car with a tired looking Austin trailing behind him.

"Where are we going?" Austin yawned as he got into the backseat and sat down next to me. "Sit back, put your headphones in, and relax because we are heading to a secret location." Emma replied while backing out of my driveway.

"Morning Princess." Austin quietly whispered to me. "How's your head feeling?" I questioned. "I think I need someone to kiss it better." He winked.

"I got you bro!" Dan leaned over the front seat. "No, I got this, sit back down Dan." I leaned over and kissed Austin on the top of his head. "There you are all better now."

"Princess, wake up we are here," Austin slowly shook me awake. I sat up realizing I had fallen asleep on his lap. "Where are we?" I asked confused. "Well Sleeping Beauty it appears we are at the beach. Come on Dan and Emma already went to find a spot to put our stuff."

"Come on Anna Banana let's go change." Emma grabbed my hand and dragged me after her as soon as Austin and I found where she and Dan had put our stuff.

"So are you and Austin official yet?" She asked as soon as we were out of hearing range from the boys. "No, Em, I'm not ready to jump into a relationship right now." "That's fine I was just wondering. Now go get changed." She shoved me into a stall with the bag that she had been carrying in her hands.

I pulled out the contents of the bag to find my favorite swimsuit, my signature pair of sunglasses, and my container of Sun-In. I quickly changed into my swimsuit and sprayed the Sun-In into my hair. I came out of the stall and did a twirl for my best friend, who had already changed into her swimsuit.

"Come on we can't leave the boys waiting," she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bathroom as quickly as she had dragged me there in the first place. We walked down the boardwalk to find Austin and Dan already changed into their swim trunks.

I caught Austin staring at me as we approached the boys. "My eyes are up here Austin," I said lightly smacking his chest.

After I had gotten settled onto one of the towels I decided to tease Austin some more. "Hey Austin can you put some sunscreen on my back?" I batted my eyelashes at him. "S-Sure," he stuttered out grabbing the container of sunscreen hesitantly starting to rub it into my back.

Once he had finished putting sunscreen on my back, I gave him a kiss on the cheek to thank him. I stood up and ran in the ocean before he could say anything to me. I turned around to see him sneaking up behind me. I waited until he was right behind me to turn around and splash him in the face with water.

"What was that for?" He asked amused. "Nothing," I shrugged playfully. He picked me up and I screamed as he threw me into the ocean.

"What was that for?" I screamed once I came back to the surface. "Nothing," he shrugged mimicking what I had said just a few minutes before.

After an hour of splashing around in the ocean, I finally got out looking like a prune. My teeth began to chatter at how cold it was since getting out of the water. Austin noticed me shivering and handed me his hoodie.

"Thanks," I mumbled putting the hoodie on over my head. "No problem." He smiled seeing that I was still cold even with his hoodie on he pulled me in for a hug.

"As much as I hate to ruin this cute little moment, we need to start heading back home." Emma said walking towards us holding Dan's hand.

Austin's P.O.V.

Pretty soon after Emma got the van back onto the highway Anna was already asleep in my lap. She looked so peaceful lying there asleep. "Hey Austin." Emma's voice called me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah Emma?" I asked now fully listening to her. "Are you planning to ask Anna out soon?" "I'm not really sure. I get the feeling she doesn't want me to ask her out right now."

"Wait to ask her at Homecoming." Dan advised. "Yeah it is only a month away and you can ask her to it in about two weeks." Emma chimed in.

I looked down at the girl asleep in my lap, the one that I find myself falling for more each day. If I want to take this amazing girl to Homecoming, I am going to have to come up with some great way to ask her.
