Music Video Weirdness

Hi guys and welcome back,

So, this week I was flicking through some music videos and that inspired this next part

Music videos these days are either good, bad or down right strange. So i though i would review/react to a couple

SO HERE WE GO…

The song that everyone has been talking about at the moment is “Anaconda" by Nicki Minaj, everyone is singing about it, talking about it, tweeting about it, so I had a quick look at the video.

Bad move

The video is odd. That is all I can say about it. Odd.

When they’re not filming butts, they’re filming fruit on a turn table. Who comes up with this stuff?

One guy made a parody to it. Watch it’s so funny and true. I’ll post the video over to the side --> --> Check it out, it contains appearances from Nash Grier and Carter Reynolds.

Next Up: “Night Changes” by One Direction

I adore this video; it’s so sweet and hilarious and brilliant  

If you haven’t watched it already:

1) WHY?

2) Summery: It’s basically you going on a date with the 1D boys!

While watching the video you get a dinner date with Zayn, go ice skating with Harry, Louise takes you for a drive, you go with Liam to the fair ground and Niall… dear Niall… you play Monopoly at his house.

That is such a random date idea, just imagine;

YOU: So where are you taking me, dinner? Ice skating? The fair?

NIALL:  I was thinking more of playing Monopoly at my house :)

What makes this video so funny is that something bad always happens at the end of each date.

Zain gets beaten up by someone

Harry breaks your leg and his arm

Liam is sick in your hate (Nice -_-)

Louis gets arrested (LOLS)

And Niall sets himself on fire!

A big song this year was “It’s My Birthday” by Will.i.am and Cody Wise.

I’m not going to lie to ya’ll, I really don’t get the video.

It contains 27 Viners and YouTubers and lots of really weird scenes.

At one point two girl’s fart and that lights the candle on a cake. I’m not sure if I’d want to eat a fart covered cake!

I decided that I couldn’t post this for you guys without including the legendary song “Wreaking Ball” by Miley Cyrus.

The music video starts OK, with a close of shot of Miley Cyrus singing and crying (Weird but we can work with it)

And then… something happens… something scary!

During the video Miley famously licks a hammer. Why? God knows! She also licks a chain and sits on a giant wreaking ball naked!

This video has been the inspiration for so many parodies’ and vines, even McFly stole the hammer licking idea! 

So there we have it, a very short and hopefully interesting reveiw of some of the weirdest and most famous music videos.
