"Dad, you just need to get him out. He doesn't do anything around here, he's practically useless!" Castiel yelled and Samandriel kept hiding in the little dresser that he was small enough to fit in without being seen.

"Cas!" Gabriel scolded.

"What? He just sits on his ass and plays on his phone! He's never home, why don't you just kick him out?"

He's practically useless, bounced in his head over and over. Did his brother really think he was useless? Hot tears streamed down his face as he clenched his eyes shut.

"Castiel, shut up," Michael said and Samandriel peeked through, seeing Castiel throw his arms in the air in frustration.

"Why are you suddenly defending him?!"

"Because he's my brother!" Michael yelled, the whole room falling silent. "And we've done nothing but treat him like shit this past year-"

Samandriel woke up, sitting up in his own bed and sighing. He needed to see Adam.

He looked at his phone, which read 2:28. Adam wasn't going to be awake at two-thirty in the morning. Samandriel didn't want to wake him. That would be selfish.

But he really needed someone to talk to.

He sighed, bottled it up, and went back to sleep.

---

Samandriel's alarm clock blared at him and he sighed, slamming his fist down on it. He hated school. He would rather not go, but he wanted to see Adam.

The thought of Adam made Samandriel blush, because damn that boy made him crazy.

He got out of bed and grabbed Adam's hoodie...well, it was his now, and put it on, slipping some random skinny jeans on as well.

He walked downstairs and grabbed an apple, taking a bite, before leaving the house.

Adam saw Samandriel and ran towards him, picking the smaller boy up and spinning him around, before planting a cute kiss on his lips.

"You just saw me yesterday," Samandriel said.

"But I missed you," Adam giggled and pecked Samandriel's nose, making him scrunch his nose up.

"You're an idiot, you know that?"

"But you love me."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night, princess," Samandriel sassed and Adam smiled.

"You never cease to amaze me."

And though Samandriel blushed, he muttered, "Shut up."

---

"No, Adam, you're doing it wrong!"

"You're supposed to stick it in, right? Well I'm sticking it in!"

"What on earth is going on in here?!" Ellen asked, barging into the room to see Adam trying to put together a Christmas tree. "Adam, honey, it's only Thanksgiving."

"I know. But I wanted a tree up in my room."

"Help!" Samandriel said as Alfie sat on his head. "He won't get off."

"Awe," Adam cooed.

"Get him off!"

"No. It's cute," Adam giggled. Samandriel huffed and pouted his bottom lip, crossing his arms. "Aren't you just adorable."

"I'm going to puke rainbows if you two don't stop," Ellen warned and Samandriel giggled. Ellen rolled her eyes and walked away, closing the door.

"Adaaaam help me!"
