chapter nine

It was Thanksgiving.

Adam was at Ellen's moms house. His brothers, dad, Ellen, his uncle Bobby, and a few family friends were there, and it was a mess.

"Garth! Put your pants back on!"

"Kevin, honey, please get your nose out of that book."

"Dear Jesus, Sam, stop texting your girlfriend! It's family time!"

"Bobby, go get cleaned up!"

"I'm fine, Jody. Just a bit of grease."

"It's looks unattractive!"

"I'm always attractive you idjit!"

"Idjitidjitidjit!"

"Garth, stop saying idjit."

"DEAN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP TEXTING! ITS FAMILY TIME!"

"SHUT UP!" Ellen yelled and everyone listened. "For Christ's sake, you guys. Calm yourselves."

"Sorry," everyone squeaked and Ellen grinned. "Jo's going to be here soon. She's bringing her girlfriend Charlie."

"Girlfriend?" Adam asked and Ellen looked down at him.

"Yes."

"Awe," Sam muttered and Adam looked down at his phone. He should text Samandriel.

Adam: whatcha doin?

Samandriel: playing on my phone

Adam: where are you brothers?

Samandriel: at my grandparents.

Adam: they forgot you?

Samandriel: what a surprise.

Adam called Samandriel, and the small boy picked up almost instantly.

"I'm coming to get you," Adam said, grabbing his car keys.

"No. Hang out with your family."

"Ellen, is it okay if Samandriel comes?"

"Of course!"

"Yup. I'm coming to get you. Get dressed."

"Adam," Samandriel groaned. "I don't like people."

"Too damn bad. I'll be there soon."

"I hate you."

"Love you."

"Love you too, you shit," Samandriel replied and hung up. Adam laughed and turned to his family.

"I'm going to go pick up my boyfriend," he said casually.

"You're gay?" Dean asked and John looked over at him shocked.

"I'm as gay as it gets," Adam grinned, before heading to his car.

"Do I look okay?" Samandriel asked and Adam looked him up at down. Samandriel was dressed in Adam's sweater and some black skinny jeans, black converse on his feet.

"You look great," Adam placed his hands on Samandriel's sides, pulling the smaller boy against his chest. "But maybe you shouldn't wear the skinny jeans. They look too great on you," Adam giggled, winking at Samandriel. "Can't have my family flirting with you." Samandriel blushed, looking down. Adam tucked a finger under his chin and lifted his head up, gazing into Samandriel's pretty blue-green eyes.

"Why did you choose someone like me?" Samandriel whispered, looking into Adam's gorgeous bright blue eyes.

"You're the only one I want," Adam grinned, kissing Samandriel quickly. "Let's go, yeah?"
