Levi's POV

My mask fell the moment the door shut behind me. That composure—that calmness—instantly dissipated like wisps of smoke, and I bolted to the nearest toilet stall, breath tight.

Once I locked myself in the cubicle, everything tore down. I braced my back against the door, panting heavily. What the hell just happened.

It wasn't normal for me to break down like this, my feet swept out from beneath me. No solid ground, just an endless sea roaring and churning. An unknown biome.

I threw my head back, heat surging up my face in rapid succession. Calm the fuck down! It was just a kiss, a normal kiss from a normal girl. It shouldn't rattle you that easily.

You've dealt with worse.

The rising temperature didn't help. Not as it continued licking every inch of my body. Cursing myself, I ripped off my tie, shoving it into my pocket before undoing the first two buttons of my collared shirt.

I needed to pull it all together. (Y/N) was outside, and she'd be wondering why I was in here for so long. I quickly did my business and exited the bathroom.

Your POV

He really was taking a while. Unless he was doing a dump?

After what seemed like an eternity of leaning against the wall beside the bathroom, the creak of the door announced Levi's presence, trailed by stiff footsteps.

"Finally!" I huffed, turning around. "What took you so—"

I caught my tongue, feeling my eyes bug out of my skull as they latched onto a very, very distracting sweep of his chest. The tie he'd been wearing was gone, the collared shirt beneath unbuttoned to reveal ivory skin. It didn't help that the displayed part of his chest was toned, fully toned with muscle.

That chest, white as pure snow, evoked a certain kind of thoughts. Thoughts I shouldn't be having right now. Not when I screamed inwardly at the tempting sight.

"Oi, you done staring?" Levi's gruff tone of voice snapped me back into reality.

I pulled reluctant eyes from his chest to his face, straightening my spine. "Y-you took a while in there," I said instead, changing the subject.

This time, it was Levi who looked somewhat ashamed. But it quickly faded, replaced by his usual demeanor. "It's none of your business," he muttered, eyes sharpening. "Let's head back."

***

The music pummelled my ears the moment we returned. Disco lights continued raking over the decorated walls, people continued sweeping the dance floor.

Before I could say anything, two of Levi's friends dragged him away, into the throng of moving bodies. Furlan and Isabel, if I remembered correctly. I'd never really spoken to them before, only once or twice during the times I tutored Levi.

Letting out a sigh, I approached Jean and the others, who were either dancing, chatting or eating. Eren choked on a grape when he glimpsed Levi's unbuttoned shirt, eyes wide. Jean saw this as his golden opportunity, chuckling as he repetitively smacked Eren's back.

"There, there, Eren. Don't choke on it," he said with a smirk, but all it did was worsen his choking.

Connie and I cracked up at the scene, Armin looking panicked, Sasha continued stuffing pastries in her mouth. Deeming Jean's efforts useless, Mikasa shoved him away and gave Eren one hell of a slap.
