You are now John Egbert.

Your fingers desperately grab for the remote, but without luck. This movie is the best! Why wouldn't Dave watch it with you again? This, you may never know.

"Give it up." Dave heartlessly demanded. Without thinking, you mindlessly lash out, your fingers curling around the rim of your friends glasses and dragging them with such a speed off of his face.

Suddenly it dawns on you that you have never seen Dave's eyes, only the cold, black, lenses of his glasses. You fall back, onto the floor as you realize that you probably have gotten him even more mad than you ever have.

You blink your eyes to exit your thoughts, and look up, yet again to find yourself in another daze as you can see plain as day the horror on Dave's face as you revealed quite an astonishing aspect of his physical appearance. His eyes were a bright, fiery red that you would never have expected to see. To be honest, they were quite beautiful and amazing #nohomo.

The thing that kept you dazed was the look of pure horror on the young Striders face. Your brain is released with new questions, but too many at once to process. Questions like, "Why hide those beautiful rubies?" Or, "What are you ashamed of?" And even, "Why are you horrified?"

You can dully hear Dave's voice, and it takes you a moment to half-mindedly understand that you need to stand up.

The next thing you know, the blonds hand is tight around your arm as he kicks you out of his apartment with a loud slam to the door.

Outside, you're still dumbfounded for a moment longer, only to fully come to your senses. You take full notice that you were just kicked out of the Strider home. "Dave," you tried to call, but it wouldn't escape past your lips.

You back away from the door, knowing that right now, Dave would never talk to you. You clutch your fingers tightly into your palms and cursed yourself. "Damn it, Egbert! You shit-head moron!"

You're about to leave, when suddenly, "John!" You turn around, seeing Dave's brother in the doorway. You almost ask to be let in to apologize, but you're stopped dead in your tracks. He throws your pack of AJ at you, followed by the words, "The hell is wrong with you?"
