"Dido let go!" Commander Tran says as he attempts to pry the maid off of his arm.
"Please master, I insist!" Dido replies as she attempts to break Commander Tran out of his routine, with little to no success.
"I insist that you don't follow me around like that, you're going to make a fool of yourself." Commander Tran says as he tries to get Dido's hands off of him, but she grabs tight. Eventually he wrestles his arm out of her grip and continues on with his constant switching. Defeated yet again Dido meets up with the other girls.
"Didn't work did it?" Newcastle asks.
"It's hopeless." Dido replies. "He just won't break out of it."
"Let me see if I can try. I'm his secretary for the day." Enterprise says as she walks over and tries to get the commander out of the routine. A few minutes pass before the grey ghost returns without the commander and feeling just as defeated as Dido was before. "I even tried telling him that there were enemies outside, but then he told me to just head out there with you girls and deal with the threat without him. It's like he's become completely absorbed in this attempt to completely outdo the Crimson Axis."
"It's something that I have noticed as well." Belfast says as she walks over. "I always notice his office and quarters are a mess when he leaves, and the lab is more often than not cluttered around where he contributes. He's got ideas on top of ideas but the people are getting somewhat scared of his intensity."
"He's pushing himself so hard that he even has the Crimson Axis of all people worried." Pennsylvania says.
"Wait... The Crimson Axis? Our enemy? Worried about the commander?" Belfast asks. "Now that is something else entirely!"
"And they weren't being half hearted either, they looked genuinely concerned that the commander was going to mistake us for the enemy and fire upon us." Hornet explains. "That's why they called a temporary ceasefire and that's the reason their ships are out there like that."
"Unbelievable." Belfast says, looking outside to see the enemy ships patrolling the Eagle Union docks.
"And we've been trying to get the commander out of that routine of his, but so far nothing's worked." Arizona says. "The only things that seem to be on his mind right now are having enough of an advantage in the arms race to completely obliterate the Crimson Axis and making sure that his documents are completed, and seemingly nothing else."
"He's even started eating my sister's ration bars." Yorktown adds. "And he almost seems to be living off of them."
"How would you know that?" Belfast asks.
"Well, despite me not eating them anymore they're vanishing at a steady rate. I bet you if we were to look in his quarters we would find wrappers." Enterprise replies as she and Belfast peek inside the commander's quarters where the former's suspicions are confirmed. "Just as I expected."
"I see." Belfast says as she and Enterprise meet up with the other girls. "Well, I guess it's time we increase our measures. Dido, Newcastle, why don't you two prepare a good lunch for him? It's around noon after all."
"But how are you going to get him to the mess hall?" Dido asks.
"Oh I have my ways." Belfast chuckles as she walks over to the commander, who's feverishly looking over his ideas in the lab like a madman. "Master."
"Hm? What is it?" Commander Tran asks. "If it's about anything else other than ideas I'm sorry. I can't really talk right now. I must beat out the Crimson Axis even if I have to die for it!"
"I'm afraid I can't let you do that." Belfast replies. "Would you at least turn to face me? It's urgent."
"What is it?" The commander asks as he turns to face Belfast. That's when the head maid grabs Commander Tran's tie and pulls him close, staring him down. "Whoa... What the..."
"...Should we follow Dido and Newcastle?" Yorktown asks, but suddenly her thoughts get cut off as she and the others see Belfast forcefully dragging Commander Tran along by the tie.
"Hey-OW! Stop that! What are you doing?! Belfast cut it out that hurts! Ow! Let go will you?! Belfast are you even listening to me?! OUCH!"
"I think we have our answer." Enterprise says as she and the others trail behind.
