{This is just a bunch of poems and stuff from when I was in middle school and high school. So like 2008-2015.}

Helena Valley Fire 2012

An umbrella

what is the significance

of it in this

That's what the mountain looks like

all up in ablaze at night

The hot spots, and flames make that shape

at day it looks like steam from a giant's cooking pot

that steam covers the valley

makes it foggy a lot

that steam is the smoke from the trees and houses burning

both night and day, day and night

either look like something different to me

When all it is, is a wildfire

a wildfire on the edge of Helena Valley in 2012

that wildfire is many things, shaped like an umbrella.

Small Lullaby

Hush my love one, don't you cry,

Your love one will sing you this lullaby.

When you are crying and very scared,

Think of this lullaby and we will always be there.

I wish to be a gracefully hockey player

It's to be a butterfly to move across the ice, to watch the hockey players move around each other so gracefully.

I wish I was to be one, to have fun, to be one with the puck.

But for I can only watch, practice outside, never be one for at the age I am;

I will be crushed like when the young ones go, and fall upon each other.

When either a game and trying to score, or in the room and too tired to get up.

So I can only wish to be a gracefully hockey player.

Cool, Calming Day

{I wrote this with my dad when I was about to turn 13 in October}

The sky is not dark, but it's not to bright

It's like a cool, calming day in April or May

It brings in flowers, for children to gaze

The dark clouds remind of winter's night
