To sit and watch out the window
The billowing of trees and plants
To hear the howling
come through the cracks of the house
The howling which seems to be carrying
on voices or screams, or laughter, or fun
To hear the shaking of things
trying to stand against
Or see the things move violently
swaying back and forth
All from the nature of the wind.
To stand and feel it
brushing harshly against
Trying to blow anyone down
The wind can be harsh
but it can also be gentle.
The wind can blow gently through the air
Brush lightly in the hair
Passing against the skin
like a light angel kiss.
Yes the wind can be harsh but also nice
But like anything else, it's in the
Nature of the Wind.
