(First, this has nothing to do with 'Lams! Hamilton Christmas Story!' that I've written. I'm a big fan of all ships possibly made from the Hamilton Musical. SO yeet.)
Most of the parking lot was taken up by loads of colorful cars, some of them taking their leave. He'd watch the blue car in front of him, them moving slowly from the traffic in just this pathway. People started to pile into the school In front of Alexander's eyes, the bell ringing for a few good moments. As soon as he had the space, he curved around, halting to a stop as he took up a parking square. Parking between a red, and white car. He'd turn the key hole, the car's engine slowing to a stop. Alexander glanced over at his seat belt protector, pressing the button that freed him. He checked if he had everything in hand, then opened the car door to step out. His car was parked on the right side, closest to the school entrance, lot space, four. Alexander tucked his keys' into the pocket of his jacket, zipping it up, as the morning breeze sent a chill down his spine. Before he began to walk, he shut the door firmly, knowing it was already locked.
As he was walking down, waving about from the cars that blocked him, the intercom blared.
"Mrs. Shell and Mrs. Kareli will be helping Freshmen in the ninth core." it sounded like a man on the speakers, his voice a bit deep. Maybe in his early forties. "Go to one of their desks in the hall, tell them your first and last name, and they will give your schedule to you. Next they will log you in. If you seem to be having trouble, go to the office where we can help you." When he walked through the halls, the intercom sounded again. "Sophomores." Alexander stopped listening at that time, he was a Junior. Teenagers crowded the hallways, most of them in groups.
Moments.
"Juniors, make your way up to the third floor, where Mr. Raider, Mrs. Swan, and Mrs. Banner will help you there."Alexander searched around as he walked, his books in hand. After a minute of lurking around, he found a sign that said; "STAIRS" with an arrow pointing to a direction. He urged his legs to hurry, trophy cases turning to a blur next to him. The intercom buzzed once more, but he ignored as he didn't need to worry about what they said on it anymore. Alexander stomped up the stairs in a hurry, taking a turn towards where hundreds of students had gone to. Three long desks were lined up next to each other, two ladies were sitting on the right, smiling. A man sat at the one on the left, smiling. Some people lined up in front of them, where others were getting into the line.
After a long and painful forty minutes, it was finally his turn. He stepped up to one of the women who was managing a desk.
"Hello, first and last name please?" her desk had a nametag, 'Mrs. Swan.' She was a blonde, wearing a plain blue shirt with rough edges, and jeans.
"Alexander Hamilton." Alexander responded, waiting patiently. She nodded, looking down at a whole bunch of papers. After hundreds of heartbeats, she looked up, blinking confusingly.
"Are you new to this school, Mr. Hamilton?" Mrs. Swan asked, her brows furrowing.
"Yes." he stuttered a bit when he spoke. The teacher nodded with understanding. She grabbed a pile of papers, banging them on the desk upside, making them neater.
"Well, Mr. Hamilton." she uttered. "It turns out we don't have your information down here. Now, we don't usually have any student that's new in Junior year. You're are the first I've had." Mrs. Swan turned to the man that sat on the left.
"Mr. Raider?"
"Yes?" He answered, smiling at a guy that walked off. His head turned to meet her eyes.
"I have a young man here, he's new."
"Ah. Send him down to Mrs. Bee, she's supposed to help out the Juniors." he'd turn back to his work, signaling for the next person in line.
"Alright sweets." her focus was brought back to Alexander. She stood up from her seat, the chair she sat in scooting backward. Her arm flew up slowly, her finger pointing down the hallway opposite the way he came.
"Down there, is Mrs. Bee's room. She's a senior teacher, she's not helping with the schedules, so you'll be fine if you're an anti-social kid." Alexander shrugged at the helpful words, turning around to take a gaze at the way he should be going. No one walked those hallways.
"She may keep you in her class for a bit to get you set up." Mrs. Swan warned. Alexander turned back, nodding gratefully.
"Thank you."
She nodded, calling for the teenager behind him. Alexander stepped out of the line, his body turning towards the way Mrs. Swan's finger pointed. He walked down the hallways, classroom doors spaced out from each other. Signs next to them told information like, the number of the room, and what teacher. Still no sign of, Mrs. Bee.When he found the room, the door was held open. He could see desks' outlined in the room, and a whiteboard at the back. It had some writing on it. It said; "Mrs. Bee. Literacy." A few cabinets were placed throughout the room, well, as far as he could see. One next to the board, another right by the door. And one more on the other side of the white board. Literacy quotes, information, and other stuff were held on the walls. Alexander huffed a breath of air, before entering the door. A desk was placed in the corner of the room, and there with it, a beautiful young woman. In her twenties. She wore a white dress with some flower design, her hair in a tight bun. Her head spun toward his essence. Her hand left the mouse of her computer, as she twirled her chair fully. Alexander cautiously walked towards her.
"Well, hello. You must be new." she held out her hand. He took it. They shook.
"Yes, I am." he'd grin in greeting, their hands unwrapping.
"What's your name? I'll get you started right away." she turned her chair face-to-face with her computer.
"Alexander Hamilton."
"Alright." she clicked out of a tab, making a new one. "So, this is what I'll have you do." Mrs. Bee announced after a moment. "I'll have some of our greatest students show you around the school when everyone is in their class. Once you're done with that, you'll be free to go home for the next two days." her eyes flickered towards him. "That should give us enough time to have you all ready."
