Now here is something pretty crazy. Alexander has known his amazing friends, for six, months. On Monday, the sun was shining brightly. Barely any clouds flew in the sky, making Alexander bloom with a joy he has somewhat known. He had noticed something during his moment with John, in the bathroom. It seemed like, John was much more nervous around Alexander than before. He was very comfortable with him in the beginning.
While the teacher wrote words across the board, his elbow kept his head high, thinking of possibilities. 'Hatred? No, couldn't be. He's an amazing friend to me. Jealousy? Maybe.'
"Mr. Hamilton? Thinking too hard?" Mrs. Flickerson put her hands on her hips, her gray hair swaying in a sassy way. She wore a light blue blouse with very, ugly jeans. His classmates turned in their chairs to gaze at him. Awaiting a answer.
"How about you answer this question?" her hand rose up towards the board, clicking it with the expo marker. 7,436 x 100. Luckily, he had already done the question while thinking. Talk about multi-tasking, hm?
"743600." he correctly spoke, his pencil bouncing off his lip. Mrs. Flickerson slicked a smile, turning around back to face the board. Jefferson tipped over from in front of Alexander, whispering a "Nice." before letting his chair fall and take him back to his desk.
The day was going by fast, and every hour of the day, he thought ways of what John could be thinking about him now. He was mostly stuck on jealousy, since Alexander still was with Jefferson. Maybe John did like him, but was too afraid to say it.
"Alright, now, put away your stuff and get ready to leave. You have four minutes." Mrs. Flickerson picked up the whiteboard eraser, wiping away solving's. Her voice sounding the room. At once students' started picking up their binders and notebooks, rising out of their seats.
The sun beamed on him, the open fields empty of people.
