"Yeah.. quite a bit actually." Alexander scratched his neck, unsure of what to do, let alone say.
"You seem, interesting." James stared at him, looking like he was thinking of something. He leaned into Jefferson, cupping a hand beside his mouth. Indicating he was whispering.
Alexander couldn't hear much, but all he caught was; "-----Him?"
Jefferson responded saying; "Let's leave this one be, I'm, inspired a bit." James pulled away, shrugging.
"Alright everyone. Orientation day!" Mr. Val stood in front of the whiteboard, surveying his students for the year. "If you don't exactly know what Orientation day is, it's where we all go down to the gym, and sign up for a club we've wanted to have! Sounds easy, huh?"
Everyone nodded.
"Alright! Just about now, Seniors' are having their pick. Once they're done, they'll call us down." he explained. "So just sit tight, and mingle." Mr. Val waved his arm in the air, then walked back to his desk.
"Hey, you, erm, Alexander." He turned by the call of his name. "Wanna hang with us?" Jefferson asked.
Alexander accepted with a nod of his head. If he was going to take this guy down, he had to become friends first to get more information. Thomas smiled at him, well, smirk is a better word. Since he did seem mischievous.Here's some steps to take down people like this;
Step 1) Get on their good side, and make them ask you to join them.
Step 2) Once you start, tell your friends right away so they don't get the wrong idea.
Step 3) If you can, try and get these bullies to change ways.
Step 4) If they don't, then proceed.
Step 5) Slowly try and beat them to the top, by encouraging others to step up to them. But in pairs.
Step 6) Once the bullies seem surprised by your antics, invite everyone to a huge party, except for the bullies, make sure they know.
Step 7) Build an army on the way.
Step 8) Maybe blackmail a bit to stay in control.
Step 9) Once they seem at their lowest..
Step 10) Break, them.At the orientation, Alexander snuck off, leaving James and Jefferson questioning where he went. He passed John, taking him by the sleeve. The bleachers were full-on out. Good. He weaved through the crowds, watching Jefferson and Madison in case they caught him.
"Ack! Alexa-"
"Shh!" Alexander hushed John, who just seemed to let it happen. He threw John underneath the bleachers, hidden from everyone.
"What's going on?" he asked, taking a breath. It was quite dark, so Alexander couldn't exactly tell what color his clothes were. Sorry. No details.
"Be quiet!" Alexander took his pointer finger and pushed it against John's lips. He checked if anyone was listening, no one.
"Tell the others, I'm hanging out with Jefferson and his little crew. It's nothing personal, this is just part of my plan." Alexander explained. John narrowed his eyes at him, like he didn't believe him.
"Trust me."***
"Where were you, Hamilton?" they asked as soon as he ran over to them.
"I just got caught in the crowd, no worries."
All kinds of booths were lined across the gym, surprisingly there was a lot of Juniors. The gym looked greatly polished, it fascinated him just a bit. The three of them hung about on one of the bleacher stairs.
"Aren't you going to sign up for anything?" Alexander noticed that neither of them have signed up for a club.
"No. Whoever's in this group, they have to follow the rules." Thomas answered, tilting his head a bit. He watched everyone, his eyes seeming to be lost.
James scooted next to Alexander, leaning into him.
"He's kind of in love." he shrugged.
"With who?" Alexander whispered back. This might be an advantage. James's eyes searched the gym, before leaning back into him to tell the secret.
"Don't tell anyone, but.." he glanced towards Jefferson, whom still stared off into the distance. "John. Are you familiar with him?"
"Oh, yes. He was one of the guys' who showed me around the school."
James nodded. Leaning back, the next row of bleachers supporting him.
"I might as well tell you now, the rules." his arms folded. "Rule 1) Your main priority is this particular group." Alexander listened for more.
"Rule 2) If you refuse to help Jefferson, or any of us, then you'll be kicked out. Maybe even worse."
"Worse?"
"Like, maybe jumping you." James nervously chuckled, but Alexander could tell he was being serious. "Rule 3) Destroy anyone, who thinks they're better than you."
"Erm."
"It proves your loyalty towards us." he explained. Waving his right hand in the air slightly. "And that's it. Just don't get on our bad side."(Small chapter! Sorryyyy!)
