Friday was finally here. Nicky had introduced my to her friends which were all boys which I didn't mind. Boys came with less drama  and more fun. They all welcomed me with open arms. There was Bill.  He had sandy blonde hair. He rode bulls and broncs so did Cody. Cody had brown hair, a nice smile and an easy going attitude. Then there was the twins Jack and Tim. Both had brown hair and bright blue eyes. And total different attitudes and hair. While Jack was laid back with a shorter hair cut almost a buzz cut, Tim was outgoing and loud and had a mullet. Tim was the jokester of the group. Both did bareback broncs,  bull dogging, and team roping.

We all sat at our table Friday after noon.

"Hey Holly you going to come to the game tonight?" I shugged. I had never really went to football games back in Texas.

"It will be fun!" Nicky said.

"Ok ypur right  it will be fun." I said. When I got home I threw on a red long sleeve shirt. I ran my fingers throw my hair. I decided I looked ok and drove back to the school. It took my forever to find a parking space once I did get to the school. I parked and went in. I swear the whole town came.

I got up and throw on some clothes. My voice was sore from yelling last night. I had really got into the game. Which surprised me. I went out to the barn and feed both horses. When Buckle was done I saddled him up and rode out into the pasture.

About an hour later we had found the cows. We had some black and red Angus, some short horns, and two big old Texas long horns. My dad said that my grandpa loved those long horns. Which I could see why. They were huge. I counted all of them. They were all here. I got off Buckle. They didn't seem scared of him.

Once I was off the female long horn came right up to me. I held my head out and she stared rubbing her face on it.  "I think I'm going to call you... Dasiy!" She mooed in agreement. After I petting her for a bit I got back on Buckle. The other long horn was a bull. We also had a black, and a roan color bull. I turned Buckle and we were off again.

When we got home I saw a black truck coming up the drive. I got off and led Buckle over to a hitching post that we had in front of our house. After I tied him up I loosened the cinch. The truck parked and a handsome boy got out. He made his way towards me. He had blue jeans on, a red shirt and boots.

"Hi." He said.

"Hi."

"My name's Hunter Gilbert."

"Holly Potts." I shook his hand.

"I live right down the road. In the log cabin looking house."

"Ooo well your house looks really cool. I live right here." I wanted to kick myself but instead I laughed.

"But I bet you know that already." I laughed again. He laughed with me. "We go to the same school right. I've seen you in some of my classes."

"Yes we do. So you do rodeo right?"

"Yep! And your the big football star right?" I asked with a smile.

"I guess you could say that but there's no I in team. I couldn't do it with out my team." Humble I like it.

"I don't know much about rodeo but what do you do?"

"I run barrels, shooting,  roping, and team roping. I also want to try saddle broncs." A scared look came over his face.

"Isn't that were the horse trys to buck you off?"

"Yep."

"So why did you move?" As soon as he asked that Buckle stared to stomp his feet and snort. He was getting impatient.

"We can talk more in the barn." I untied Buckle  and stared toward the barn.

Hunter prov

She stared towards the barn not even waiting for an answer. I tried to move but my feet were planted. She stopped and turned around. Her green eyes meet mine.

"Are you coming?" She asked smilling. I nodded and got my feet to move. I had never been this tongue tied around a girl before.
We walked to the barn. She tied her horse up. And started unsaddling it.

"I moved because my grandfather pasted and we got all this. Plus I didn't really like my other school." She lifted the saddle up and placed it on a rack were other saddles sat.

"Do you like our school?"

"Yes. People are much  nicer here." She finished and put him in a stall.

"Where  are my manners. This is Buckle." She pointed to the horse she had just unsaddled. "And this is Saint." She pointed to another horse.

"So do you ride?" She asked me.

"Yes but not horses I ride motorcycles."

"Ooo that's cool. I always thought it would be cool to ride one and learn how too." She moved a piece of hair that had slipped out of her pony tail behind her ear.

"Well I'll tell you what, we could give each other lessons. You can teach me how to ride horses and I'll teach you how to ride motorcycles."

"I think that's a good deal." We both smiled.
