"Then why is Tim telling everybody your sick?" His eyes narrowed on me. I sat in the lawn chair putting my face in my hands.
"Because I asked them too."
"Why?"
"Because Hunter my parents left me!" I finally snapped at him. I could feel the tears in my eyes. I quickly blinked them away.
He sat in the chair next to me. "They left me. They left this place and expect me to take care of it. And that's what I'm going to do. This place is my future I won't let it fall apart." I said breaking down."Holly I'm so sorry. Why did they leave?"
"You ask a lot of questions." I said looking up at him tears in my eyes.
"They got a job. It makes them go all over the world. They send most the money back to me. But.."
"But?"
"But it hurts knowing I wasn't good enough reason for them to stay." I said getting up putting the meds up from the calf.
"What about school?"
"I just told them what was going on and that I would do all the work. They agreed. So I can graduate this year along with all of y'all."
"Holly." His voice was soft. He grabbed me and wrapped his arms around me.
"It's ok to cry." As soon as he said that my walls broke down even more and I was a crying mess in his arms. He stood there letting me cry.

Then next day I stood spreading out straw in stalls. "Holly?" Hunters voice called."In here."
"I just found you a ranch hand!" He stated clearly proud of him self.
"And who would that be?"
"Me." I lifted my head. His face was drop dead serious.
"I don't think that's a good idea. You have school and football."
"It's a great idea. I'll be fine. Plus you need the help. And I'm not taking no for an answer."
"Ok fine." I started showing him what to do.
Later that night we sat in the house by the fire drinking hot coffee. It was silent both of us in our head. He so nice for doing this I hope it doesn't affect his football. That would make me feel like crap. I snuck a glance at him. A small smile was on his lips. He must of been thinking about something nice. A thought passed through my brain that made me think about me and Hunter. I would always love Hunter. I don't think I ever stopped. One day would ask him if he still loved me but I was content with him sitting right beside me, drinking coffee, and being friends.
