Chapter 21 Tim to the rescue

It had been 3 day since it had happened. And about 100 times that I've replayed it all. "It wasn't your fault. He wanted you to give up something you loved." I reminded my self. I would never ask him to give up football. So why would he ask me to give up rodeo and horses.

I went out to my horse trailer. Today I was going to clean the tack room/ changing room. I had just gotten started when there was a knock. "Hey anybody home?" Tim's voice came.

"Ya Tim in here!"

"Hey Holly!"

"Howdy Tim. What you doing here?"

"Came to help you out." He said holding up a sack.

"What's in the sack?" I asked letting my curiosity get the better of me. "Well lets see. We have chocolate. That's the first thing to fixing up a broken heart. I got some movies and ice cream!" He said very proud of himself.

"Thanks Tim. Come on let's go in so that we can watch a movie and eat." I said leading the way. We got settled in a started the movie as we ate ice cream. Soon the movie was over and we were just talking.

"He really wanted you to give it all up?"

"Ya."

"Is he an idiot?" I chuckled at that.

"Apparently. I asked him if he would give up football if I asked him too."

"And what did he say?"

"He said no. So if he wouldn't stop why should I? Tim, I'm not going have him control me just like Jackson. I just won't."

"I know Holly. He's going to realize what he did he's going to crawling back to ya."

"Yep that's why I'm going to work hard to show him."

"Well what are you planning for that?"

"I'm glad you asked that. The July 4th rodeo. I was talking to his mom and she said that they always go no matter what. Hunter can't skip because it tradition and his mom never let's him break it. Once he's there he will see my win all my event plus do saddle broncs that you taught me." I said finishing my plan to him. I was quite proud of my plan.

"You wanna do saddle broncs?" Tim finally said.

"Yep!"

"And you want me to teach you?"

"Yes."

"Holly you have got to see how crazy this sounds!"

"I do. But think about this. He thought I was doing was dangerous imagine when he sees me on a bronc!" I was about to bounce out of my seat. He was taking to long to replied.

"But if you don't want to teach me then I could find someone else too." I added.

"Holly your going to be the death of me but let's do it." He said smiling at me.

"Yes! Let's do it!" We high fived.
