"Ok your all set to go home." The doctor told me after he and the nurse had finished with my head.

"Thanks y'all. See ya next time." I said sliding off the table.

"Not too soon Holly." I smiled and waved as we left.

Hunter and I got in his truck and started back home. It was a very uncomfortable ride. We sat there in silents. Niether one saying a thing. We got to my house he threw the truck in to park very hard.

"You going to come in?" I asked.

"No."  I coukd help but feel a little disappointed. But i shook it off.

"Ok love you."

"Love you too." His face softened for a moment before the mask came back over. I watched him pull away as I walked to the barn. We had said I love you for the first time a month ago. Saying it still sent shivers up my spine. I went and feed the horses and petted them. After I got into the house I took a shower and climbed into bed. I thought sleep would find me but it didn't. Thoughts keep going through my head. Why was Hunter so mad? Is it something I said? They keep going. "Holly we will just ask tomorrow!" I said hoping to get some sleep. With that I drifted to sleep.

I woke up to a dark and raining day. "I thought the weather man said it was going to be warm?!" I mumbled as I got ready for the day. I shoved my feet into my muck boots and threw my rain coat on. I went out into the barn and feed. Since I couldn't ride I brushed all the horses. They seemed to enjoy it. I closed the barn door behind me and walked to the house trying not to slip in the mud. Which didn't happen. I fell in the largest puddle of course. "I hope this isn't how my days going to be." I said pulling my self up. I made it to the house with no other accidents.

"I love the new look  Holly." She laughed.

"Me too mom. Mud is the best protection from bugs."

We both laughed as I made my way up stairs.  I stood looking in the mirror. My face had speaks of mud on it. My hair that I had braided back was full of mud. "So much for taking a shower last night." I said as I got in the shower. Soon I had all the mud out and was putting a movie in the DVD player. My parents left to go to a bull sell. So I had the house to my self. I had just started the popcorn when there was a knock on the door. I wiped my hands off and opened it. Hunter stood there.

"Hey I didn't know you were coming over. But I'm glad you did." I smiled and let him in. Rain drops gleaned in his hair making him look even more handsome. "I finish the popcorn then we can watch a movie." I said going into the kitchen.

"Actually could we talk?"

"Sure." We sat at the island.

"I want you to quit rodeo and working with horses." He finally said. He wouldn't meet my eyes.  I sat there trying to  processing it. He want me to quit what I loved? I hope that I had heard him wrong.

"What?" I asked.

"I want you to quit rodeo and working with horses." Nope I heard him right. "Listen Holly. I knew that you love to do it. Rodeo and horses are your life."

"Yes they are, so why would I stop?"

"Holly your getting hurt a lot!"

"So that comes with the job! I've explained that already!" I was losing my cool. Here was my boyfriend asking me to stop what I love to do. "You get hurt in football! I don't ask you to stop! What if I did? Would you? Would you stop something you love? Something that is your life? That's  going to take you to college? Well would you?!?!" He looked down and mouthed something. "What was that?!"

"No I wouldn't ok!" We both were losing our tempers.

"Then why would you ask me too?"  He threw the chair back that he was sitting on.

"Holly! Your hurt all the time! Why can't you see that? Your going to get your self killed!"

"I will not!"

Hunters prov

"I will not!" She yelled at me.

"Yes you will! Damn it Holly! Will you just hear me out?!?!" She fell silent.

"You've never had this problem before. So what happened?" She said in a whisper.

"Was it the accident?"

"Part if it!"

"Well what else is it?" I tried to calm down but it wasn't working.

"Nothing."

"Bull crap what else is it?" She demanded.

"Fine! It's what you said to Tate!"

"Did you think I was flirting with him?"

"Yes!"

"I was not! We were talking!"

"You can talk to me! You never showed me the scar!"

"You've never asked to see it! You never asked the questions he asked! Plus if you going to try to tell me who I can talk to you've got another thing coming. I will never make that same mistake!" She turned around so that her back was facing me. I could tell she was about to cry. She hated people to see her cry that's why she turned around.

"Give up rodeo and horse or were done!" She whipped around. A hardness came over her green eyes.

"Then get the hell out!"

Hollys prov

I cant believe he just said that. I was done. He can't ask me to give up something i love. I wont give it up. That's like me asking him to give up football. I whipped around once he said that.

"Then get the hell out!" I screamed at him. He turned and left never looking back. The truck left. I went and locked the door. I slid down the door finally letting myself cry and breakdown.
